Olbermann Slams McCain Campaign

I happen to love a good rant and Keith Olbermann can out do me any day of the week when it comes to the issues of the past week in politics.

You have to check this video out, Olberman goes after Palin on the “Pro-America” stance. Then Minnesota’s Congresswoman Michele Bachman for requesting a McCarthy like hearings on Anti American Democrats! Then he goes after one of McCain’s spokeswoman on Virginia and the race for President that she perceives as us against them. Limbaugh made the rant on Colin Powell’s endorsement of Obama where Rush thinks it is a African American sticking with another African American. Then he goes after McCain on responsibility for what his spokespeople are saying in all aspects of his campaign.

This was an amazing rant from Keith Olbermann and I think many people will agree that he isn’t far off from the truth on this one.

Joe the Plumber was a Plant

I can’t honestly confirm the details of this post from the Huffington Post but “Joe the Plumber” talked about at length during the last debate that started with John McCain has a direct connection to John McCain from the Keating Five Scandal. He is a relative of the organization that John McCain was reprimanded for in the Congress. Again, I can’t confirm this. I thought it odd though that Fox News had the jump on this story when he was planted at a location to talk directly with Barack Obama. Here is what Huff PO and Robert J. Elisberg is saying…

Just when you didn't think things could get worse for John McCain -- they go in the toilet.

Literally.

So, you remember Joe the Plumber, who John McCain kept relentlessly bringing up. And up. The apparently undecided plumber who had complained to Barack Obama that he couldn't buy his own plumbing company because he'd have to pay 3% more in taxes. The plumber who John McCain lauded as an Everyman while oddly proclaiming "Congratulations! You're rich!" in the midst of a disastrous recession. The fellow who said that Barack Obama "tap dances better than Sammy Davis Jr."

That guy.

Well, it turns out he's the one gliding around the dance floor so much, you should expect to see him soon on "Dancing with the Stars."

You see, Joe Wurzelbacher is apparently related to Robert Wurzelbacher. Who is the son-in-law of (are you ready...?) Charles Keating!
- Huffington Post

If this turns out to be true then John McCain has lost the trust of the American people by laying a deception onto the people with full knowledge of said deception. He knew who the hell "Joe the Plumber" was because his campaign put him in a position to confront Barack Obama and be a solid voice for his political stance on all issues. Dropping a dime to a friendly news network gave John McCain and his campaign a head start on the issue before the debate even began.

What’s ironic is that all of the major networks looked to interview the superstar plumber and forgot the plumbers that worked for Nixon. Not one of them looked into the facts behind this guy and that tells you volumes of where our Television News networks are when it comes to serious reporting. Fox News knew who the hell he was and that is why they had the jump on the “Joe the Plumber” story. Did any of the other networks or news organizations do a background check with a hint of relationships to whom "Joe the Plumber" is related too?

Nope! Didn’t happen. Instinct is a funny thing and when this guy first showed up I smelled something funny but I don’t have access to the databases that real news organizations have. I’m just a blogger though. But it was a well known blog that found out who Joe the Plumber is related too?

I have to add a big old hairy butt to this post, this information has not been confirmed as yet. Huff Po wouldn’t post it if they didn’t have serious evidence though. If this story proves out that the Republican Party or John McCain was aware of this plant and he openly repeated it in the debate then all of his years of public service will end in one lie. A lie he repeated during the debate over and over again.

True Colors in Politics

I have no tolerance with racism in my life what so ever! From anyone against anyone that is an American citizen. Absolutely none. End of discussion. I grew up hearing the stories from my father and mother on the racism that my grandmother and grandfather faced in the new world. “Irish Need Not Apply” signs for job openings and apologies from landlords in the area they landed in outright saying that they do not rent to the Irish!

I’m not an African American but I do happen to know that the African American people of this nations last generation and this generation, are still reading the signs “Irish Need Not Apply” or we don’t rent to your kind and that is disgustingly wrong. As many gains we as a people have made in this nation over the last forty years, when it comes to civil rights there is still racism against many people for many reason that bares no common sense.

What pisses me off even more is that racist people declare themselves McCain supporters and transpose their ignorance onto a noble public servant. Mind you, I’m not defending John McCain, he can explain his pride in the debate last night of “All of his rally supporters” and what he meant from his mouth to God’s ears. Explain this Senator McCain? Tell me and the Independent and Moderate voters that you are proud of these people or tell them they are dead wrong!

Video Link

Should we all look at the Republican Base as all racists and just call it a draw because the Democrat Base is the rainbow of American races. Videos like this one make me think that John McCain needs to seriously reconsider his funding of education in America or would he prefer that this kind of understanding of common knowledge is acceptable. If he is cool with his supporters going so negative with believing Obama is a Muslim, and the rest of the crap that they would rather believe in then John McCain must be the next coming of Christ for them. Jesus Christ 2.0 or George Bush 2.0, same thing very different philosophies for caring for your fellow man.

Lets go extreme on what McCain supporters really believe. Apparently they still believe Barack Obama is still a Muslim and not a Christian since a baby so Al Jazeera America has this on it. Yes it is a Muslim and Arab news agency, so the hell what? The video speaks for itself...

Video Link

If this is the Republican political base that elected George Bush then I am so glad that I never voted for him in either election for President. I’m sure that many of the clear thinking Republican’s never thought this type of mentality was ever possible. I know that my Republican friends don’t think this way and I mean in a racist intolerant way! Thank God above some people in the Republican party are not this misunderstanding of the real issues. Real issues like education, healthcare, and taxes are not based on any candidates religion, race, gender, or even if they were or are a lawyer! To this kind of political base there is the color of your skin, your religion, and email hysterics taken as the word of God from the Holy Bible. And all those emails about winning the lottery in another country are true by the way. Just send your checking account number and they will deposit the money for you… NOT!

If this is the base John McCain is so proud of then he can have them, and in that respect I’m sure that many educated Independent and Moderate voters would agree with me on this topic. If racist comments are what it takes to win this Presidential election from your supporters then I honestly can’t support the candidate they support with so much hateful, offensive, and frankly un-American language.

I think the words in our Constitution read “We the people” not “Some of the People”.

Racism pisses me off and if you don’t like that I’m pissed off about it then don’t read this site. If this kind of garbage in America is okay with you then I DO NOT WANT YOU READING THIS SITE! We are a melting pot of many nations but we are all Americans and anyone that tells you that that fact is inacurate is not correct and is in fact morally corrupted.

“You are your brothers keeper” goes beyond the hour you are in church once a week and yes I attend services! As an American Irish descendent from County Claire and Cork, I’m endorsing the real Irishman in this race, Senator Obama of Illinois.

Politics and God

From the outside looking in I am one of those Oxymoron Liberals that happens to have a very strong belief in God. I don’t push my faith, my belief, or my church on anyone because in my own belief system, that would be wrong. My relationship with God and my church has been defended by our Constitution and it is in fact nobody’s business other than my own. Do I always agree with my own Catholic faith, hell no, and for many reasons that I could go into a very long post on. Protecting and defending children would be numero uno!

Thomas Jefferson was correct in his understanding that this nation of many nationalities and religions would best be served by the separation of church and state. Many people to this very day still disagree with Jefferson but it is part of our Constitution and should never be ignored. We can not and should not allow one theology of God to be the basis of our government that has to be of service to all religions or lack there of for all of our people.

One thing that I honestly believe in is that faith and electing a political leader should not mix. Leave the religious doctrine to the leaders of the churches and leave the politics to the politicians. In my thoughts it is one thing to say a blessing by a religious leader at a wedding, or even at a private run civic organization. Using God’s name or for that matter Jesus Christ, Buddha, Allah or any other prophet from any religion should not be the introduction speech from the clergy at any political rally for any political party. Granted the first amendment comes into play in this very difficult topic.

Not for a moment do I think that God should be stripped from our government or our currency. Common sense dictates where religion belongs in our government, our courts, our personal lives, and in our national election process. Using God as a political euphemism to denounce your political opponent is not only not Christian, it is unethical if you are a member of the clergy.

Unhelpful for establishing the tone McCain sought in Davenport was the Rev. Arnold Conrad, past pastor of the Grace Evangelical Free Church. His prayer before McCain arrived at the convention center blocks from the Mississippi River appeared to dismiss faiths other than Christianity and cast the election as a referendum on God himself.

"I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god — whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," Conrad said.

"And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day," he said.
- MSNBC

The context from Rev. Arnold Conrad is confusing but the intention is pretty clear. God has a McCain bumper sticker on the pearly gates! Well I’m screwed then! Or am I or you as an Obama supporter? If you have any religious upbringing then you know this to not be true.

Religion and politics do not mix. I understand the reason why religious organizations want to be involved and reach out to their flock to get involved in the process. I just don’t agree when a religious leader uses their pulpit message at a campaign event for President of the United States.

I keep thinking of why Mitt Romney had to defend his faith and he should not have had to do so. Then I think of Kennedy having to tell the nation that he would not be a puppet President to the Pope. Then I think about anyone demanding to me to defend my faith, my belief, or who my God is? What would you do if faced with that very same question?

Then I think about the crisis this nation is facing and religion takes a back seat. Having faith in God is one thing, having faith in our elected leaders to actually lead “We the People” out of this mess is another issue.

That is why we have national elections for President and religious leaders are elected by the elite of their faith based organizations.

God bless America and the American people! That is as far as a prayer before a political rally should go. Or does God only love only the people that are politically aligned with he or she? If that is the case then 50% of American’s are going to hell! I’ll let you decide who is in and who is going to need some serious sun block lotion post election day come November.

Financial Market Time Bomb

Latest reports from Hank Paulson over at the U.S. Treasury is that the U.S. Government is going to financially prop up banks but there is a catch. They want stock in return for the favor. I suppose that is better than handing the banks a check and getting a toaster in return for it. Doing the math the deal works out to 15,555,555 toasters at $45 a piece. I don’t think Uncle Sam could ever sell that many toasters on Ebay without greatly affecting the world wide toaster markets so I‘m good with that deal.

For all of you folks following the markets and politics, Rachel Maddow has this interesting video on it…

Video Link

Is it just me or does it not make sense to anyone else for the McCain campaign manager Rick Davis to make a statement like he did in the above video?

“There’s very little a candidate for President, and frankly, after watching today, very little even the President can say about what’s happening in the stock markets other than to hope that they correct themselves.” - Rick Davis

Is it possible that Rich Davis is a “Closet” Obamaican? Then when asked why John McCain or Sarah Palin are not talking about the markets he had this to say in the above referenced video…

“I don’t know if you really want to turn a campaign into a CNBC News show on the stock market. I mean it doesn’t mean that we don’t care and aren’t trying to do something about it. It’s just I’m not exactly sure what you would say everyday.” - Rick Davis

If for no other reason, both candidates need to be talking about this issue every single day for a reason. To instill calm in the markets should either one of them become President. Well it turns out that Obama is talking about it in a logical way that will support new jobs in the small business markets. Just like after 9/11, making credit available to the thousands of small businesses that needed to either rebuild, restructure, or start all over again. It also turns out that John McCain is talking about it but his plan leads to panic in the markets. McCain is proposing, take a deep breath, suspending the “Regulations” (I never saw that one coming…NOT!) to allow people to draw out their 401K and IRA’s without penalties?

One plan builds up small businesses, the other puts a rush by millions all across America to dump their stocks, bonds, and every other investment vehicle for the old Mattress Savings Bank.

Just something to think about over the weekend. John McCain himself has said in the past that he knows nothing about economics and his latest plan would in fact put a full run on banks, company 401K’s, and investments in any form of retirement fund. Common sense dictates what would happen if the penalties for early withdrawal were suspended.

Warning to Racists and Bigots

I’m taking a huge risk on writing this post but I think the American experiment as our fore fathers saw it, as the Presidency of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Kennedy, Johnson, Reagan and Clinton foresaw that it needs discussion. McCain and his campaign is blindly playing the race card and as just one American voter I don’t like it one bit! As an Irish, Catholic, White father of five daughters, a Democrat, a Moderate, and an Independent voter, I don't like it one bit. When they play the us against them card it tick's me off. Apparently, the McCain Palin campaign can not assimilate into the real America that exists all around us. We are a melting pot and that is the genuine reason why America is so great.

One of the greatest fears of most people in America is that your own thoughts will not be included in the current debate. Wall Street has a bailout plan so the mega rich and their investments are safe, what about you? This campaign for President is going to get ugly, the advertisements will go super nova with deceptions and lies based on context taken from wherever from each of the candidates. That is what politics is, it happens, it is the expected path when the stakes are this high. This is a Presidential election. Make no mistake about it, the man or woman in the executive office of the Presidency is the leader of the free world. So why would someone wanting that high office want to play the race card? Why would they do that other than fear?

Over at the LA Times they have this little tid bit that I need to discuss further…

By Peter Wallsten, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
October 5, 2008

WHITEWOOD, VA. -- The isolated towns of Virginia's Appalachian coal region are home to strong labor unions and Democratic political machines that date back generations. Yet voters here who eagerly pushed Democrats into the Senate and the governor's office are resisting Barack Obama.

Some Americans say Obama's race and uncommon background make them uncomfortable -- here those people include Democratic precinct chairmen and get-out-the-vote workers. Many Americans receive e-mails falsely calling Obama a Muslim -- here a local newspaper columnist has joked in print that Obama would have the White House painted black and would put Islamic symbols on the U.S. flag.
- Los Angeles Times

You and I could use FactCheck.org to clarify and learn the truth but the mud hitting the fan is more important than the facts to most voters. They hear a sound bite and that is gospel truth! They hear the reply to the sound bite and they look at a dirty liar. Not the person that originated the sound bite but the one defending themselves.

I’m puzzled but I understand the politics of the desperation of the McCain campaign to do anything to win. John McCain and Sarah Palin will do anything short of using the “N” word when it comes to describing their political opponent Barack Obama for the Presidency. A word I personally despise. This is not 1958 or 1968! I’m offended already but I’m a political junkie and I have a rough clue as to how McCain will move his political campaign to try and win this race for President. In each video they come out with over the next thirty or so days they will dance around the word but not mention it directly. Thinking they are above board, above accusation, they will dance around the subject that a black man can not be President but a white woman with absolutely no clue in national politics is okay one heart beat away from John McCain? They have to travel this path simply because they can not win on the real issues that face all Americans! They can not match Obama on the issues so they have to go to dirty political tactics. When you have nothing left to offer then why not go extreme racist and show your true colors?

John McCain has begun to travel down that path in his political campaign that smells of racism and that is a path that America must never follow. Which leads to the question if McCain is not truly a racist? This is not the 1950’s, 1960’s or the 1970’s! A time period comfortable to John McCain but not so comfortable for today’s voters. That was thirty, fourty, and fifty years ago. That was then, this is now. And yes I read that book! America has grown up since the time of John McCain and his upbringing where racism was acceptable in the good old boys club in not just Washington but in many of our Governors offices that is frankly no longer acceptable all across America.

Brietbart has this opinion and thought to check out...

Dare John McCain talk about the issues as passionately as Barack Obama then we have a discussion on politics and reason to vote for one or the other for President. When the McCain campaign is grabbing at the edges of the cliff as the polls are falling they will use any tactic and count on you as an ignorant voter to fall for racism as a last ditch effort to survive. Let him go, he is not worth it. If he has to bash African Americans to win the vote then what will he do next to win? Is your nationality immune from ridicule?

When you take the time to really look at the issues and where each candidate for President stands, you see the real difference. One candidate is for Americans and the other is for protecting the status quo of corporate America. You get to decide and pick just one.

Obama is looking out for you, John McCain is looking out for the friends of George Bush and the gravy train to come if we elect McCain as President. It’s your vote ultimately that counts. Racism or a new America that finally includes all Americans?

So what do you think?

McCain on Michigan “Check Please!”

It seems that the McCain campaign is calling it quits in Michigan and thus handing the state to Obama. It also seems obvious that he knows that the battleground states are up for grabs and he needs to concentrate the rest of his finances in those states or he will go down in flames on election day. Over at Politico they have this to say on it…

McCain pulling out of Michigan
John McCain is pulling out of Michigan, according to two Republicans, a stunning move a month away from Election Day that indicates the difficulty Republicans are having in finding blue states to put in play.

McCain will go off TV in Michigan, stop dropping mail there and send most of his staff to more competitive states, including Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida. Wisconsin went for Kerry in 2004, Ohio and Florida for Bush.

A McCain aide confirmed the move and chalked it up to the state's Democratic tilt and the resources Obama had put in place there.

"It was always a long shot for us to win," said the aide.

McCain will now turn his attention to bolstering his defenses in Ohio and Florida while putting more resources into Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and the second congressional district of Maine, where there is a sole electoral vote available.
- Politico

I think we just need to set the record straight here. McCain is not quitting Michigan, the people of Michigan are not buying what he is selling. Maybe he should put his campaign on clearance and move it to the center aisle? It looks to me that there is less interest in items on the extreme right and even John McCain does not look comfortable there.

Then again there just might be a story coming out in the next few days that would have embarrassed McCain out of the State if not banned him. With Governor Palin soon to be a grandmother, she allegedly began knitting Michigan a giant mitten. Just a rumor, no proof yet.

McCain Moves Venezuela to the Middle East

First John McCain moves Spain to Latin America and now he is moving Venezuela to the Middle East. Pssssst Senator McCain, they are not like furniture in your many houses that you can move around on a whim. These countries you keep rearranging are on different continents! Venezuela is in South America but I’ll keep this between you and I John. Mum is the word on your vast foreign relations experience.

Over at America Blog they have this interesting article about Venezuela…

The next thing you know he is going to want to move New Mexico to Mexico, Rhode Island to the Bahamas, New England to Great Britain. And for all of you folks in Arizona, Senator McCain is moving the state to Florida to consolidate all them pesky Social Security whiners. Cindy wants to put in a new pool.

I am a little concerned about how he feels about California though. Latest reports had him down at Home Depot buying up the entire stock of pry bars and asking which way to the (Expletive) San Andres Fault?

Note to self: Do not let John McCain book our next vacation plans to ANYWHERE!

Remember the POW Bracelets From Vietnam

Why is it so hard to believe that a mother would give a bracelet to Barack Obama a Presidential candidate and ask him to wear it with pride. To ask him to remember the pain she feels with the loss of her son so other mothers will never feel the same pain. It was a request from a mother devastated by the loss of her son killed by an IED in Iraq to a man running for President that wants to end the war in Iraq. She is not a political operative as much as she is just a Mom first. Thinking of other mothers and the pain they would have gone through with the death of a child in Iraq. She is just a military Mom and that is all she is. Why is the right wing Blogosphere attacking a military Mom mourning the death of her son? Do they not remember the Veterans of Vietnam and the gauntlet they all faced coming home? It sounds like they only support Republican voting troops! Dead or alive! All you Democrat, moderate, and independent troops do not count?

Many people in the media picked this story up when Barack Obama countered John McCain in the recent debate with “I wear a bracelet too” response, but I wear it for a very different reason than you Senator McCain. Mom and Dad of the KIA military son are separated or divorced and that is another discussion for others to disgustingly blog about. It is not part of my article.

What is important is that a mother loved her son and thought of other peoples children and was fearful of how many more sons should not have to die in this war. A legitimate point. She isn’t running for President, her candidate is. Get off of her back! Over at the Chicago Tribune they have this to say on this strange dilema and attack on the mother of a dead soldier killed in Iraq…

Soldier's mom defends Obama's mention of bracelet
By DINESH RAMDE Associated Press Writer
6:37 PM CDT, September 28, 2008

MILWAUKEE - After Tracy Jopek gave Sen. Barack Obama a bracelet in honor of her son who was killed in Iraq, she asked Obama not to mention the bracelet on the campaign trail.

But Jopek told The Associated Press on Sunday that she's satisfied with how Obama discussed it during last week's presidential debate.

Jopek gave Obama the bracelet at a Green Bay rally in February. It has the name of her son, Sgt. Ryan David Jopek, and the date the 20-year-old was killed by a roadside bomb, Aug. 2, 2006. "All gave some -- He gave all," it says.
- Chicago Tribune

I will be brutally honest with you. I have friends of mine from the Vietnam War era that still wear the bracelets of missing P.O.W.’s. Decades after the war has ended. They wear them with pride and honor. They do so to never forget them. It isn’t a campaign thing to do so or a stunt talking point for them, it is a brotherhood obligation. Google search Patriot Guard Riders or just click here and you will see where real veterans never forget. And they are joined by thousands of people that have never worn the uniform. Respectfully, and thankfully so. When the extreme right wing religious organizations damned all of our fallen troops to hell then that was just too much to swallow. America honors its fallen soldiers no matter why or where they were killed in action. They died serving our nation and gave the ultimate price. We can never forget that and we should not politicize it. They are all of our troops and a casket knows no political affiliation.

McCain came to the debate and this Presidential election with an empty suit of support for Veteran’s. Talk to any disabled Vet and you will get an earful of how McCain and President Bush have shafted them all over and over again. Too many Veteran organizations are voicing loud and clear against McCain because of his voting record in the Senate against Veteran’s. But it is still your vote.

The Women Behind Obama and Biden

When you look at political candidates running for President it is hard not to notice the woman behind the man. What is that old saying, behind every great man is a greater woman. Something like that. Behind the Democrat ticket for President is two outstanding beautiful woman and they prove it out with actions and not just words when it comes to the children involved in the campaign for President. That is a key point for this post, children.

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden are two very well educated woman that are married to serious politicians that some people call elitists. I’ll talk about that aspect after the article linked to below. When it comes to being Mom’s there is nothing elitist about a kids slumber or pajama party hosted by Michelle Obama and Jill Biden while there husbands did what they needed to do during the DNC convention. Over at People (who’d of thunk I would ever quote People with politics) they have an interesting story on the women behind the candidates of Obama and Biden…

Michelle Obama's Campaign Secret: Kids' Slumber Parties
By Chris Willard

How do you keep 15 kids entertained on the campaign trial?

If you're Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, you throw a slumber party.

The night of Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention, her daughter Malia, 10, said she needed to make an announcement.

"I was like, 'What? Was I bad?' " Obama tells Access Hollywood in a series of interviews to air Sept. 25, 26 and 29. "She said no, but we have to have a sleepover tonight."

The sleepover happened the next night and the guest list included Biden's granddaughters and about 15 children of campaign staff.

At a recent campaign stop in Allentown, Penn., Obama and Biden chatted about how they had formed an immediate bond.

"It was just one of those magical moments where we spent a week together and after that week, you know Michelle put her arms around me and I put my arms around her and she said, 'I love you,' and I said, 'I love you, too,' " Biden recalls. "We just clicked."
- People

For starters we can say that these two woman have guts to host a slumber party for fifteen kids. Having five daughters we have had our fair share of large sleepover nights aka pajama parties with one or more friends from several of the girls and I wanted to pull my hair out. My wife handled the nightly events with the expertise of a top executive Mom. The bottom line is that they didn’t dump the kids on staffers and matter of fact, many of the kids were from the staff! If you ask me, and you won’t, these two mom’s handled the convention perfectly not only on stage but with the children associated with the campaign. I’m looking forward to seeing the interviews from Access Hollywood with Michelle Obama September 25, 26 and 29th. It’s nice to see the inside of the woman behind the man that could sit behind the desk in the Oval Office.

Getting back to the “Elitist” point of view that people are labeling Barack and Michelle Obama, I think it is good for the country to present our brightest and strongest candidate for President on the Democratic ticket. My brother offered this advice when people use the “Elitist” label when it comes to Obama. When America goes to war we use our “Elite” troops, Navy Seals, Green Beret’s and the list goes on. We use our best assets to attack and win the fight. We use our Elite military power to fight and win the war so how is it wrong that putting up our brightest star in the Democrat Party is wrong because they call him an “Elitist”? More to the point, why are they not putting the best their party has to offer to defend America?

The Last Bush Rape of America

Make no doubt about it, George Bush and the policies he has followed have set the American economy up to be raped. He put a tube top on Wall Street, added some stiletto heals to the regulations and set America up to be raped! President Bush was not alone in this set up, he had help from the king of deregulation in the Senate from John McCain. McCain fought hard to deregulate the banking industry and he won. And because he won, $700 Billion dollars is about to head to Wall Street to save all the CEO’s and top executives with golden parachutes as they pack up and leave the mess on your doorstep. The rape is over, the baby is here now and orphaned by the people that created it and left for you to raise. The rape still happened!

Over at Brave New Films they have this speech from Obama on the blank check bailout…

American’s need to wake up and face a wrong for what it is. If your child is abused by a stranger do you look the other way because the stranger was from your political party? Start looking at America as your child and you would be surprised how fast people start caring about the blatant abuse in our government. John McCain helped to create this beast and now that beast has plopped a huge bill on your door for more money out of your pockets.

America used to have a huge Conservative movement but they are silent during this crisis! Why? The truth is that the people that were supposed to be their champions just sold them all out. While the President and McCain were playing with our nations banking industry, the executives of those freed institutions ran wild and free till the money ran out. Now it is going to cost every man, woman and child in America $2300 bucks for the poor judgment that Senator McCain and President Bush showed over the past eight years. Having five children in my family, the wife and I own $16,100 dollars of the Bush/McCain error in judgment.

What Wall Street firm should I make the check out too. According to the terms of the Paulson bailout I should just sign the check and mail it to the U.S. Treasury. They’ll fill in the amount and the rest of the details later. By the way, the plan Paulson has proposed has a little feature that makes him, his entire department omnipotent and free from any oversight or court of law on how they spend the $700 Billion dollars. Are you okay with that?

$1 TRILLION Mortgage Bailout

In a very serious effort to save the American economy from outright collapse the federal government wants to write a blank check to all of the good old boys in banking and George W. Bush. Why the hell not? We could put California up on Ebay to pay for it and I bet we might just have a few bucks left over to go to McDonalds for lunch.

What angers me about this whole situation was the deliberate melt down of serious oversight of the financial markets by the federal government. George Bush and the Congress that let him ride for free will go down as the most destructive President to our economy in our nations history! Thanks W!

Over at Politico they have this on the $1 Trillion Dollar bailout…

Congressional leaders said after meeting Thursday evening with Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke that as much as $1 trillion could be needed to avoid an imminent meltdown of the U.S. financial system.

Paulson announced plans Friday morning for a "bold approach" that will cost hundreds of billions of dollars. At a news conference at Treasury headquarters, he called for a "temporary asset relief program" to take bad mortgages off the books of the nation's financial institutions. Congressional leaders had left Washington on Friday, but Paulson planned to confer with them over the weekend.

"We're talking hundreds of billions," Paulson told reporters. "This needs to be big enough to make a real difference and get to the heart of the problem."
- Politico

Let there be no doubts on this financial disaster, John McCain is not walking away from this bailout squeaky clean. While some Senators were screaming for regulation even two and four years ago, Maverick was pushing for absolutely no regulation from the Federal Government. With John McCain fighting for less oversight he was in fact enabling the people in the financial markets to recklessly loan out money to people that could never afford to pay it back. But McCain still saw no problem with that issue till this week when he flip flopped on the bailouts needed from the Federal Government to save not just a few banks but dozens.

If you look at the facts then you can clearly see who bares responsibility here and it isn’t the SEC Chairman Cox! Going back to March of 2008, not that long ago really, Politico had this to say on Phil Gramm aka the Mavericks Campaign General and finance guru…

The general co-chairman of John McCain’s presidential campaign, former Sen. Phil Gramm (R-Texas), led the charge in 1999 to repeal a Depression-era banking regulation law that Democrat Barack Obama claimed on Thursday contributed significantly to today’s economic turmoil.

“A regulatory structure set up for banks in the 1930s needed to change because the nature of business had changed,” the Illinois senator running for president said in a New York economic speech. “But by the time [it] was repealed in 1999, the $300 million lobbying effort that drove deregulation was more about facilitating mergers than creating an efficient regulatory framework.”

Gramm’s role in the swift and dramatic recent restructuring of the nation’s investment houses and practices didn’t stop there.

A year after the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act repealed the old regulations, Swiss Bank UBS gobbled up brokerage house Paine Weber. Two years later, Gramm settled in as a vice chairman of UBS’s new investment banking arm.

Later, he became a major player in its government affairs operation. According to federal lobbying disclosure records, Gramm lobbied Congress, the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department about banking and mortgage issues in 2005 and 2006.

During those years, the mortgage industry pressed Congress to roll back strong state rules that sought to stem the rise of predatory tactics used by lenders and brokers to place homeowners in high-cost mortgages.

For his work, Gramm and two other lobbyists collected $750,000 in fees from UBS’s American subsidiary. In the past year, UBS has written down more than $18 billion in exposure to subprime loans and other risky securities and is considering cutting as many as 8,000 jobs.
- Politico

I just want to be clear on this issue, John McCain is going to reform the banking system and Wall Street by taking advice from one of the people to blame for the crisis? Sorry, not buying that!

Don't stand there telling the people that you are going to clean up this mess when you Senator McCain and your best buddy for life Phil Gramm were more than complacent for this massive and very costly mess. This isn't even funny, how can McCain face the American people and claim total innocence and he knows how to fix it. To late Senator McCain, the damage you have done is now complete.

Obama McCain Toss Up States

When it comes to the Presidential election this year, many states are still in play and the battleground for McCain and Obama is very diverse from previous elections. States that went for Kerry or Bush are no longer locks by any political party this year.

One of the things that I am very glad to see is that the tough race that Hillary Clinton ran in the primaries has reinvigorated woman in America to participate in this election process. In the process of picking Vice Presidential candidates I was very surprised that Barack Obama did not actually pick Hillary Clinton as Vice President but that is history now. Joe Biden brings another spectrum to the Democrat ticket that expands the political theology of what it means to be a true American servant to the people. The big surprise in this election process was the coasting in during the primaries, John McCain, picking Sarah Palin the Governor of Alaska, a virtual unknown and unlikely pick for Vice President.

Personally, I honestly think McCain picked her simply because she was a woman and he hoped that her unknown status on the national stage would follow through in her run for Vice President. That didn’t hold up and Governor Palin comes with some luggage that I honestly don’t think McCain had the chance to consider or vetted in his pandering to woman voters. Make no mistake about it, the Maverick picked her because she alone could stir up the main stream media and draw attention not back to him but the Republican Party! As his campaign manager has said, this election is no longer about the issues! Something nobody speaking at the RNC convention went into any detail on, including John McCain the actual candidate for President from the Republican Party?

My thoughts are that many of the states once firmly in the Red zone are up for grabs and the Obama and McCain campaigns will have to fight hard to take or keep these states. According Real Clear Politics Polls Obama is making progress in achieving a win come November in many of these toss up states.

Florida is one state with 27 Electoral votes up for grabs according to the RCP Polls. Since March of this year to September, Obama has climbed up to a tie status with McCain which is almost a ten point jump. Just a reminder, Obama was not allowed to campaign in the primaries in Florida because of DNC rules at the time that prohibited campaigning due to Florida moving up its primary vote date. Florida is wide open and ripe for an Obama, Hillary, and Bill Clinton speech tour.

Virginia is next on the list that went for George Bush by 8+ points in the last two elections and is now a dead heat between Obama and McCain with 13 electoral votes in play. I’m giving some of that credit to Virginians not being anyone’s fool. Folks in Virginia know when the politics in America is screwed up and they elected Jim Webb as a U.S. Senator to counter the current administration claims as being a monarchy. There once was a king that pissed off one Virginian so much that he ended up leading a Revolutionary Army to victory just a couple of hundred years ago. Now that was Virginian with the true American spirit. I think they named a city after him or a state, his name escapes me right now…

"As the first of every thing, in our situation will serve to establish a Precedent," he wrote James Madison, "it is devoutly wished on my part, that these precedents may be fixed on true principles." - George Washington

Nevada with 5 electoral votes comes up next with its never ending and growing economy that Bush won in the past two elections by just a few percentage points. One of the reasons that Nevada is growing so fast and furious in the influx of people moving into the state. The construction industry is booming and the tourist industry is off the charts. Everyone from everywhere else is moving into Nevada and that is changing the once prominent red state into a possible blue state. Immigration of Americans to Nevada is coming from the Northeast, blue states, Northwest, blue states, and the central states surrounding the Great Lakes, also blue states. Obama and McCain are 1% apart in the polls as of the time this post is being written.

New Mexico is up on the radar by a slim win by Bush in the last election but has one hell of a Governor in Bill Richardson. Ronald Reagan used trickle down politics like Bill Richardson uses trickle down philosophy in state government to help his residents in New Mexico. New Mexico residents are blessed to have Richardson as a Governor in so many ways that it isn’t even funny. I think they know it and will trust their Governor to vote blue rather than red come this presidential election.

Ohio is the battleground state to win with 20 electoral votes that went for Bush in the last election. Do the people of Ohio really think that John McCain is going to make their lives any better? I think they will see through the smoke and mirror politics of McCain and his selection for Vice President as just another clone of George Bush. Keeping tax cuts for the top 5% of income earners is more important than offering tax relief to 95% of Americans who make less than $250,000 per year. Trickle down politics is McCain, the rich keep more of what they already have to much of and you keep less?

Last thought on this rant, America is in need of change, the last eight years have proven that our leaders do not have any faith in us by the many lies they have told that were later exposed. If you want four more years of lies, misdirection, avoidance of the truth, deaths of our sons and daughters in made up reasons to go to war then by all means vote your conscience.

When you really think about it, America was born of people that had to have change to survive. They fought and died for that change that gives us all the rights that we enjoy today. America will not survive this phase of the experiment in freedom if the oppression our people face is born from within our halls of government.

Sarah Palin 17 Year Old Daughter Pregnant

I’m going to be the first to say that this is not political news. Teenage pregnancy is nothing new and the fact that Governor Palin’s daughter is pregnant has nothing to do with this election. I’m not a supporter of her political party but I am a supporter of family privacy rights! This is an issue that they as a family have to face and it is none of our business as political writers on opinion and facts. Even though I personally think that Sarah Palin is the absolute worst choice McCain could have picked as his VP, her family business is her and her husbands to deal with. Her daughters choice to have the baby is her choice and not one other persons business than her own. It’s called Choice!

Politics is a messy business and even the Daily Kos was sucked up into a rumor mill where Sarah Palin was not the mother of her infant son. As the post went, it was her daughters baby and she covered for her. I could not find anything to back that up. From my perspective and research I could not find any legitimate posts on the internet to back up the Daily Kos post. A post that the Daily Kos took off of the site? It was deleted and gone from the site for a reason. One of my close friends in the blogger world sent me the link and I researched it and found nothing. But in the news was this little tid bit and I congratulate the Palin family on soon to be Grand Parents…

ST. PAUL (Reuters) – The 17-year-old unmarried daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin's five children with her husband Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, according to aides of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, the aides said.

The Palins, in a statement released by the McCain campaign, said Bristol "came to us with news that we as parents knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned" and that their daughter "has our unconditional love and support."
- Yahoo News

As a Liberal blogger, I have to say that I welcome another life into this world as a celebration. That would be the Catholic in me. Congrats to you Governor Palin and to your daughter as well.

Barack Obama has called out for all of his supporters to back off on the children and family of all of the candidates in this race. I happen to agree with him on that point but this is an election and every facet of any candidate on the political ticket is up for grabs. Politics is a nasty business and every aspect of your life, your family, your decisions in politics, everything is up for grabs.

Back to pointing out the miss direction of Palin as a politician in public service… Did I type that out loud?

For some odd reason I feel compelled to post this You Tube Video of Sarah Palin not being the mother of Trig? It's out there and it's gaining momentum. Have to love them Swift Boaters. Trust me, the McCain campaign will come out with another version of swift boaters and it will be uglier than you ever thought possible.

I'm not even going to go into the DUI, DWI that the Governors husband Todd Palin went though while a young man. Stuff happens but the Gun Toting Liberal has his thoughts on the subject...

“Troopergate” and “DUIgate” involving First Dude, Todd Palin, isn’t a TRUE campaign issue; particularly in the case of the latter. Who gives a rat’s behind if Mr. Palin got busted in Dillingham, Alaska (Source: CBNnews.Com) when he was twenty-two years old? Apparently, a lot of people do because this blog is receiving TONS of search requests for “Todd Palin DUI DWI” right now, so there ya’ go... - Gun Toting Liberal

McCain Blames Obama for Oil Prices?

Hold the presses Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and every other news publisher in America. We finally have a real suspect for the high price of oil and gas in America. My source at an undisclosed location deep inside the McCain campaign tells me that Obama did us all in.

Covertly, Barack Obama and his minions went from gas station to gas station over the last eight years and changed the prices at all of the pumps in America thereby raising prices so that he could take the most powerful office in the world in a cake walk election against high oil and gas prices. Investigators are probably dusting the jumbo numerical signage outside every gas station in America as I type this post for prints. We need to nail these monsters and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the Bush idea of the law as it pertains to his whimsy this week.

Reality is that John McCain is blaming Barack Obama for the 300% increase in the cost of oil over the last eight years for all the price increases in his latest attack advertisement. Those Liberal thinking jerks like yours truly are to blame for gas and oil at $4.00 or more? ROFLMAO!!! You can’t make this stuff up! Umm, I think that the Republican’s controlled all three houses of government over most of the last eight years! The same Republican controlled houses of government that found no price fixing over and over again in mock Congressional investigations. Some people think that Republican's still control the agenda in both the Senate and the Congress but that is another topic for another day.

Over at The Young Turks they have their own idea of reality and the truth. And I happen to agree with them. At the time of this post, this video had over 25,000 views…

Watch for the next attack ad from the McCain camp blaming Barack Obama for the crucifying of Jesus Christ! Trust me, nothing is out of bounds when Karl Rove is advising the McCain team for President in 08’.

I don’t know about you but I have had it with lies from my President disguised as the truth only to find out they were in fact more lies for more deception. Saddleback was just the beginning of dirty tricks for McCain. He is proving day by day that he is in fact the resurrection of George W. Bush for yet another term to screw over all of America for the select few gain. Karl Rove is in fact a Republican God and should be worshipped as such. I'm thinking Anti Christ but I'm just a liberal leaning idiot. NOT!!!

The Seven Houses of McCain

John McCain was asked how many houses he has and he had to defer the question to a staffer? The fact that the Senator from Arizona could not answer that question played right into the “Richer than God” playbook for his opponent from Illinois in pegging John McCain’s enormous wealth to the common people of America. John McCain can play the common man role well but the hundred plus million fortune and too many houses to keep track of fact blew his covert cover. Before all of you pundits get your hair riled up, most likely all of the houses are in his wife’s name but the simple ground rules are that she is the wife of John McCain and thus they share a common mega fortune. Oh, and seven plus houses if you count all the buildings on the McCain aka compound in Arizona.

Over at CBS News and You Tube they have this to say on the latest McCain outrage…

Video Link

I used to own just one house. I had an investment property during that ownership but sold it off during tough times. Umm, are these properties that the McCain family owns investment properties or just places to crash for the mega rich and wealthy? Take your private jet, to which McCain owns, and just drop in for a weekend? My investment property was a three decker in Worcester. We rented the apartments out for what the market could bare and with both of us working fulltime jobs we could not keep up with the needs of the investment. My WIFE and I sold it off a couple of years after we bought it for a small profit and that was the end of our real-estate investment speculation. I honestly don’t think John and Cindy McCain are renting out many of their properties so the fact of being a hundred millionaire is square on the lapels of Johnny the “Maverick” McCain.

Just don’t tell anyone that he has so many houses that he can’t keep track of them all. How he comes off telling people that the economy is sound when foreclosures are going through the roof, to which I have had real life experience with, tells anyone with a straight face that he is one of us is a freaking joke!

Then you have the fact that the top contender for John McCain’s Vice President choice is none other than a man with a fortune estimated at close to one half billion dollars? Financed his own campaign for President to the tune of over $45,000,000 and recently ate the debt aka donation from his own checking account. How many houses does Mitt Romney have? That would be something for the Main Stream Media to look into. Start with Utah and work east…

The only way John McCain would lose his home is if he lost the damn keys to the front door. His back up is six other homes to sleep in. What’s yours?

Other folks talking about this issue:

My hat’s off to Panama John McCain for having the guts to run for the highest office in the land despite being on the losing end of an unwinnable battle against gravity and mortality. Some shameful folks are insinuating this only proves the Distinguished Gentleman From Arizona Panama has lost his mind….

We’ll see how “funny” you all think it is when the day (God forbid) comes when YOU forget how many mansions, plush homes — whatever — YOU own. - Gun Toting Liberal

And of course Politico with their follow up post here...

McCain Offshore Oil Drilling Hype

I have to say that I’m not to sure that this is such a bad idea given certain conditions. Conditions like our government going nuts in tax breaks for solar research, wind power research, hydrogen and natural gas research as fuels for our nations cars, trucks and busses. If the government focuses as much attention to these energy sources as they have on oil then maybe then we can look at offshore drilling for the time being? At least for the time being while the research is going on and improving the science and network needed to functionally serve these new technologies. Back in the 1970’s we had the first oil crisis where our nation was held hostage by OPEC and in 2008 we have our nation held hostage by energy traders. It’s a known fact that there is not one single answer to changing the source or usage of our energy needs.

One of the biggest gripes against McCain making this trip to an oil rig is the fact that his largest campaign contributors are from most of the big oil companies. Many far more qualified people are saying that even if we start drilling off shore in a large scale it could be ten years before the results drop the cost of oil down even just a few pennies? What about the millions of acres in known oil rich locations on land, in the continental United States that the oil companies already have access too?

Over at the Houston Chronicle they have this story on McCain using an oil platform to back up his thoughts on offshore drilling…

McCain uses oil platform visit to promote more drilling
By PHILIP ELLIOTT Associated Press
Aug. 19, 2008, 2:54PM

ABOARD THE CHEVRON GENESIS — Republican presidential candidate John McCain visited this oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico today to call for increased offshore drilling that he claims would lower the cost of food and heating homes.
McCain traveled 130 miles by helicopter to tour the massive facility, which produces 10,000 gallons of oil each day. He criticized his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, for not supporting such a plan.

"He says it won't solve our problem and that it's, quote, not real. He's wrong and the American people know it," McCain told reporters.

Obama's campaign, meanwhile, called the four-hour excursion nothing more than a stunt. Obama supporter and former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack compared McCain's position to the "Beverly Hillbillies" television program where the main character — Jed Clampett — stumbles onto an oil gusher. McCain, he said, has "a Jed Clampett energy policy."

McCain and his aides believe the pocketbook approach can connect with voters — and, in turn, suggest that Obama wants people to pay more for gas, food and heating.
- Houston Chronicle

One of the things that keeps coming into my mind is that Senator McCain flew by helicopter 260 miles round trip to an oil platform offshore that is only producing 10,000 gallons of oil per day? That is a quote from the story by the AP. If my calculations are correct then that platform is only producing 182 BARREL’S of oil per day at 55 gallons per barrel? I’m not sure that mega platform is even going to pay for McCain’s helicopter ride with one days production. After refining and what have you, how many gallons of helicopter go-go juice do you get. I’m thinking that the helicopter is burning a hell of a lot more gas than your average Chevy pickup truck. I’m guessing that the AP story has a problem with checking facts and CNN has the rig producing 10,000 barrels a day which is a huge difference in numbers. Even still, go-go juice for any kind of chopper is not cheap and they eat the stuff up like its candy to a baby.

How much would you like to bet that the helicopter trip was free courtesy of Chevron? How much money do you think is going to flow into the McCain campaign coffers for this trip to the offshore oil rig? John McCain’s energy plan is a joke and everyone knows it. He’s even being dishonest with himself for the sake of the almighty dollars rolling into his campaign from big oil companies. John McCain knows that any effort to put offshore oil drilling rigs in the Atlantic will be shot down in the Senate by every single state with a shoreline to the Atlantic. If putting up a wind farm off the coast of my home state in Massachusetts was a battle, you have not seen anything in comparison of battles if there is even one remote possibility that the fishing industry off the Atlantic coast were ever harmed by any form of oil drilling disaster or leak. Hurricane Katrina destroyed 113 offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and the environment and the fishing industry paid the highest price for that natural disaster. Over at the Washington Post they have this to say about offshore oil rig disasters from Katrina…

McCain and the Safety of Offshore Drilling
By Michael D. Shear

In an energy speech recently, McCain said that: "As for offshore drilling, it's safe enough these days that not even Hurricanes Katrina and Rita could cause significant spillage from the battered rigs off the coasts of New Orleans and Houston."

In fact, Katrina and Hurricane Rita caused damage to oil rigs and storage facilities in the Gulf, according to press reports and government studies.

The hurricanes totally destroyed 113 oil rigs, according to the government's Minerals Management Service, and damaged 457 pipelines. The resulting oil spills were large enough to be seen from space, according to several reports.
- Washington Post

Offshore oil drilling is not the only answer to the energy crisis we are facing courtesy of Wall Street investors. Research into many other avenues and looking at the possibilities of new forms of energy is the answer. The top three are Solar Power, Wind Power, and Natural Gas. All of which this nation has an overall abundance of. Does McCain talk about these energy sources? Yes he does but his heart and soul is brought to you courtesy of big oil and free helicopter rides to their offshore oil platforms.

McCain, McSame, McBush, McRove, whoever the hell he is today does not have the answer or even a valid plan for the next couple of decades and our nations energy needs. It is becoming apparent that McCain’s plan is more of the same and screw you. Thank you very much and please donate to the McCain for President campaign. NOT!!!

McCain himself and his actions, statements, and just disregard for the truth are the loudest and clearest reason why people should vote for change and Barack Obama for President of the United States of America.

McCain Deception at Saddleback Church

Rick Warren holds in his hands and his church the thoughts of many Evangelical voters. The people following his church, Saddleback Faith, his reputation as a leader in that faith is now in question if the responses to a closed question and answer session of both Presidential candidates is ever proven out that John McCain was prompted on any of the answers to the questions. Devout honesty is paramount in this type of question and answer session. Cone of silence aside, as Rick Warren promised had been compromised and the MSM press is all over it like a fire ants nest disturbed. Obama was set up and Rick Warren is hiding something. That something is the truth and the fact that he wanted Obama to look like a near do well, and his prefered candidate a star.

Evangelicals should be very wary of a man like John McCain that declares his faith is in the same corner as their belief, but when an opportunity to lie and deceive people presents itself he grasps it as if it were gold. Lies, deception, and anything you want to hear is in the McCain campaign mantra that if an edge presents itself that it can somehow be garnished by answering questions that Senator McCain was not supposed to hear, then John McCain will take it. Answers that Senator Obama gave to the same questions honestly and thoughtfully were allegedly prepared for Senator McCain and this is outrageous! Over at the Huffington Post they are questioning McCain’s responses…

I must admit that listening to McCain answer Pastor Rick Warren's questions so quickly and glibly last night at the Saddleback Faith Forum made me wonder if he somehow knew them in advance. He was so confident, so concise. But I put the thought aside as unduly paranoid -- that is until a few minutes ago. I was routinely checking my favorite election website fivethirtyeight.com and the webmaster, Nate Silver, referred to a piece in Daily Kos about the whereabouts of John McCain for the first thirty minutes of Senator Obama's interview with Rick Warren. Was he in a cone of silence? Perhaps not. - Huffington Post

Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC raised this ruckus and I happen to think that she is right. John McCain never does well on off the wall comments and usually stumbles in all of his replies. Yes, both of the candidates were given a heads up by Rick Warren on what the subjects were going to be about but there was no knowledge of the exact questions before the event at Saddleback. Somebody is lying and this You Tube video slams the door shut. John McCain was fully aware of the questions to be asked, most likely prompted on the responses to give, and his opponent Barack Obama was totally in the dark.

How did John McCain with his upfront personality answer the questions that were supposed to be asked answer them so quickly on education? He couldn't have unless he knew ahead of time what they were going to be. Tell me I’m wrong! Tell me that you would vote for a person that would rather lie, deceive, cheat, steal, and rather lose his own soul just to win an office job in the White House. Power is a strong motive and motivation based on shadows of the truth is not and can not be the American way. Never!

We can look back on our own American history and be proud of George Washington our first President, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan all as Presidents that contributed so much to what it means to be an American today. You may or may not agree to any of their politics but shame or regret was never in their minds while President. Their work as President was not about them at all, it was about building America to be a better nation.

Can we honestly look at John McCain as a Presidential contender that has morphed himself into George W. Bush, one of the least popular Presidents in American history? An administration of the White House where lies have superseded the truth more times than not? You decide, it’s your vote!
