Sex Change for Murdering Your Wife?

This post is off the beaten path but it does have to do with politics and the bad wrap the folks in Massachusetts get being a very Liberal state. When it comes to crimes like murder there is no politics or theology that gives a pass too it. If you kill someone in the Bay State you will serve life in prison. We do not have the death penalty option in Massachusetts. There is no gray area in a left leaning mindset or right leaning mindset when it comes to killing another human being. Jailed for life is what you get.

Here is the case of a husband that was convicted of killing his wife in cold blood and claims the state is suffering onto him cruel and unusual punishment while in jail because after his three square meals, clothing, and a roof over his head that he deserves a sex change operation at the states epxpense.

My good friend for life over at the Gun Toting Liberal had my blood boiling on this issue. We tend to do that to one another simply because he beat me to this article this time. He has a different spin on it than I do but I think we are still on the same page. Mind you, we are both very Liberal opinionated people for the most part. Judge grants hearing for killer seeking better sex change care in prison

A judge today granted a hearing to a convicted murderer who says she’s being denied medical treatment in prison as she awaits a ruling in her bid for sex change surgery.

U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf ordered a March 13 hearing in the case of Michelle Kosilek, formerly known as Robert. Kosilek asked for the hearing after claiming she’d been denied hair removal treatment and access to a specialist to discuss testosterone levels. She said as a result her body is becoming more masculine. - Boston Herald

Is it not already a given fact that convicted prisoners in Massachusetts already have a better medical plan than most of the citizens? Don’t get me wrong, they are wards of the state for the crimes THEY committed but this goes beyond dental care! Murder is murder no matter how you look at it from any political perspective. This man planned HIS wife’s murder in cold blood. Lied about it to the children they brought forth into this world and HE wants special circumstances while serving life in prison? That does not wash with this Liberal Democrat and it should not wash with you from any political view point.

Prison is for people that committed and were convicted by a jury of their peers for heinous crimes against society, like oh say murder. And Bob Kosilek murdered his wife. What about her? What about the children she left behind? He killed their Mother!

This monster is making the crime he committed secondary in public opinion and murder is still murder but his sex change is more important to him? Screw him or she or whatever group you want to claim he is part of. He killed his wife! This is not a transgender argument as much as it is a manipulative monster using up court time for something that should be a simple answer. NO! You can not have a sex change operation!

It makes me sick to think that one in four of our veterans coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan will end up on the street homeless from various mental health ailments and yet this state is actually considering this bastard being treated inhumanely?

I’m not sure if the States Attorney General or Governor Deval Patrick can intercede but they should. This is ridiculous.

Domestic Violence with a Badge

Let me just say this, my wife would kick my sorry ass if I ever raised a hand to her. My five daughters would probably join in on kicking my sorry ass if I hit their mother and Mom called for an Iron cage death match.

Domestic violence knows no boundaries or occupations and no race, creed, color or sexual orientation is without it. Tempers are what they are and sometimes the job comes home with you and sometimes some people can not check it at the door. Domestic violence is a serious problem in America and the flood gates of what is really happening in our nation is not talked about enough. It’s a fact that the majority of the abuse on spouses and children goes unreported. More times than not the violence is silent or quieted behind the four walls of a families home. The perpetrator and abusive family member is looked at from the family in a submissive mode and that the victim probably did something wrong to deserve a beating. That thought process is hard to comprehend but it happens every single day in America.

There was this story in the Boston Herald that I found and it points out several Boston Police officers that have had serious domestic violence complaints lodged against them and still hold the badge.

Despite talking tough on domestic violence, the Boston Police Department did not fire any of the 11 officers disciplined in the past two years for punching their spouses, striking their children and other violent incidents, a Herald review shows.

The punishments handed down by Police Department brass in those cases include two five-day suspensions, three 30-day suspensions and one 40-day suspension. Of the remaining officers who were investigated, two retired, two resigned and one has a criminal case pending.

“It’s outrageous,” Mary Lauby, executive director of Jane Doe Inc., said of the department’s lack of a zero-tolerance policy against battering cops.

Police Commissioner Edward Davis, who has been on the job for a little over a year, said a tougher policy has been in place since June 2006 that specifies officers can be fired for domestic violence complaints even if they aren’t found guilty in court.

Davis said only one officer has been punished under the new rules, Lt. Dave Murphy, who received a five-day suspension for allegedly punching his girlfriend off a bar stool in Baltimore. In that case, the victim did not cooperate with the department, Davis said.

But Lauby of Jane Doe didn’t buy that as a valid defense of the department’s policy.

“This entire reliance on victims in order to prosecute, it’s a sham,” she said. “We all know that there is a substantial amount of domestic violence that never reaches anyone’s attention.” - Boston Herald

Violence in the home is and should not be tolerated by any wife, Mother, or child. Violence against family members is much like starting down the road of beginner drugs or alcohol. For that matter some people think that domestic violence is just as bad as addiction to drugs or alcohol. One step at a time it can ramp up till the walls all come crumbling down. In the worst possible scenario a spouse or child is dead at the hands of a family member.

The Herald piece pasted all Boston Police Officers in the same mold and that is not true reporting. It does however point out that the rules for all law enforcement officers needs to be a higher standard than the general public rules and laws. As in most professions in America there are idiots and scum bags. Boston’s Police Department is no different. Not all cops are wife beaters and not all cops are abusive to their children.

I don’t think there is a police officer in Boston that thinks the idiot highlighted in the Herald’s piece is nothing but a scum bag. With his disgraceful behavior in his private life it reflects back on all of the Boston Police whether they all like it or not. Then again the Herald goes out of its way to attack all public servants in Boston.

Real men, real woman do not need to hit or abuse anyone if you just open your mouth and logically vent. Violence against the family members that love you even if you have hit them in the past is not the answer. Asking them what you should do in your life is the answer. If that does not help then get some serious mental health consultation. One punch to the ones you love will damage not only your life but the ones you love forever. Seek help and advice everywhere you can and save not just your conscience but the horrible result of a family bound by violence.

My personal advice to the battered woman that are married to an abusive husband, get out and do it NOW! The life you save may be your own. No woman should tolerate even one moment of abuse. This is not 1808, this is 2008. Ending the cycle of violence from the victims point is far better than staying and letting your children learn that it is okay to beat their mother. Life long lessons are funny that way.

Obama Lands Governor Patrick Endorsement

Barack Obama landed the golden trophy of the new up and coming political star governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick. Tears I’m sure could be seen over at the Clinton campaign where they so much would have loved to put this endorsement in their “Must Have” endorsement folder. I’m sure that this decision to go with Obama over Clinton was a tough one for Governor Patrick.

As rock stars go in politics, Obama is to national politics what Governor Patrick is to Bay State politics. With the backing of Governor Patrick comes a plethora of uniting forces in both the Democrat’s and the middle of the road Republican’s. Governor Patrick has a way about him that unites people on issues rather than separating them and our nation needs more political leaders like him. If he puts his name behind Senator Barack Obama then it sends a loud voice of confidence on uniting our people once more.

Rallying behind Barack Obama, Gov. Deval Patrick yesterday announced a major event in Boston next week to cement his endorsement of the Illinois senator’s presidential campaign.

The endorsement by Patrick, the nation’s only black governor, will help solidify Obama’s support from the African-American community and help boost his fundraising advantage among liberal Bay State campaign donors.

In an e-mail to political supporters yesterday, Patrick announced plans for a rally in the HubTuesday, and aides said he will stump for Obama in Iowa and New Hampshire following the end of legislative sessions in November.

“I believe we need unifying, visionary leadership,” Patrick wrote. “I believe we need a president who will level with the American people. I believe we need Barack Obama.”
The endorsement comes after months of quiet deliberation by Patrick, who has been torn between Obama and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Former President Bill Clinton appointed Patrick to a top civil rights post in his administration in the 1990s. The Clintons also campaigned for Patrick during the gubernatorial election.

Both presidential campaigns made a bid for his support, and Patrick called Clinton and Obama yesterday to inform them of his decision, according to aides. - Boston Herald

I’m taking up a collection for all the political wounds the Governors endorsement is causing not only the Clinton camp but also many of the other contenders in this presidential race. Injuries of this magnitude can hurt the front runner but in the same sense give a much needed boost to the Illinois Senator. Bottled Water or Tap Water?

Walking the streets of Worcester, MA you see the empty discarded plastic bottles of water all over the place. Nobody will ever admit that they are a liter bug but the empty water bottles are everywhere and it isn’t a name brand issue problem. From top of the line bottled water to the same water that is pumped into millions of plastic bottles by the local beverage manufacturer from I might add the local city water supply are cast out of car windows. For that matter chucked by joggers, whipped into the woods by school kids, and just dropped by walkers and occasional strollers taking the air.

Check the back seat of your car or minivan and count the empties rolling around back there. Kids will be kids but Mom and Dad have some ownership of all the empties back there too. If they don’t find the recycle bin then they can eventually end up in landfills, incinerators and on our streets. I think I read somewhere online once that the cost of making the container for the bottled water is higher than the cost of the product inside of it.

Hub protesters: Don’t go near the (bottled) water

Corporate Accountability International wants us to turn on our faucets to quench our thirst.

The Boston organization launched a national pledge drive yesterday to convince consumers to opt for tap water over bottled water. Its “Think Outside the Bottle” campaign also seeks the support of officials who “prioritize municipal water systems over corporate profits,” organizer Liz Gary said.

The group, which rallied at City Hall Plaza, ultimately hopes to convince Mayor Thomas Menino to follow San Francisco’s lead and stop city-funded bottled water expenditures. Its goals are to protect the environment from the billions of plastic water bottles that end up in landfills and as litter and to restore confidence in public water systems.

“Bottled water corporations are undermining confidence in tap water by advertising their product as somehow cleaner and safer,” Gary said. “But the truth is there is no evidence to prove their claims. It’s overpriced and mostly comes from municipal water sources anyway.”

The city of Boston has started a feasibility analysis to determine whether it can stop funding bottled water purchases for city departments, said James Hunt, the city’s environment and energy chief. - Boston Herald

I’m not a bottled water person. We don’t subscribe to a bottled water service unless you count the water to the house from the plumbing coming in from the street.

There will always be bottled water drinkers in our society. It’s almost up there with flag waving and patriotism. If you want to curb the waste that ends up on our streets then you need to make water bottles the same as soda cans and bottles, of course beer bottles and cans with a deposit on them. Nothing makes a consumer more vigilant against litering than tossing a nickle to the curb.

As for the tap water and bottled water debate, I don’t have a dog in the fight other than the endless amount of discarded carcasses of the fallen soldiers from consumers of bottled water. Water is water to me.

Governor Patrick Campaign Returns Donor Dollars

I’m just setting the record straight for all the nimrod maroons (stolen from old cartoons) that believe Governor Deval Patrick is a crook. YOUR WRONG! While all the media in Boston and for that matter across the state is looking to nail Governor Patrick to the cross for sins pretty much expected of other politicians, he is not the type of man or leader that would accept a donation to his campaign if it was even remotely illegal.

Every single problem associated with this current Governor has been immediately addressed by this Governor and maybe that is what people do not expect from their government. Honesty! How damn refreshing is that?

Take any issue that the press has tossed the mud at regarding Governor Deval Patrick and he has either admitted that he did not know that it was wrong and paid for it himself to make amends or put the record straight as to why he has governed as he has chosen to do so. To put it simply, you can’t keep an honest man down. This pisses off millionaire Republicans from Wellesley and Sudbury but there are people in this state west of Route 128 and 495 that also have the same Governor.

Gov to refund $52G in campaign cash: Review: Donations exceeded limit

Patrick’s campaign sent a letter to the Office of Campaign and Political Finance yesterday revealing the results of an internal review that found 169 donors had given more than the maximum $500 contribution allowed by state law.

Patrick campaign director Liz Morningstar said the $51,941 in excess contributions stemmed from “duplicate records, variations in contributor name, address changes, bookkeeping errors and uncashed refund checks.” In her letter to OCPF, she said refunds already are under way.

State Republican Party director Brian Dodge lashed out at the Patrick campaign, saying the mistakes resulted in a “fraudulent interest-free loan that padded the governor’s campaign coffers.”

Patrick campaign spokesman Steve Crawford fired back: “I seriously doubt that anybody believes that a few bookkeeping mistakes are what resulted in the governor’s victory last year.” - Boston Herald

If you do the math as far as running for Governor of this state is concerned then the percentage points are so insignificant that mathematically it is not counted. And yet the Governors office reported it on their own and is returning the funds. They could have lied or hid it but they did not. They could have just overlooked it as an insignificant amount of money and donated the money to charity but they did not. Nope, they are returning the funds to the campaign contributors.

What the article omitted was the amount that the Deval Patrick for Governor campaign raised in total dollars. The Boston Herald also omitted how many individual contributors there were to the Governors campaign fund. Facts are easy to forget when you write a soft slam against an easy target like Governor Patrick. It just goes to show that you can print whatever you want in the paper and you never have to defend it as the writer.

Governor Patrick will have to waste his time defending himself though and what purpose does that serve the people that elected him? I’m finding that the Boston Herald is leaning more towards the Fox News network standards that the owner of the paper finds more to his liking. Rather than reporting the news they are setting the news topic and facts.

I have no dog in this fight. I did not contribute to any Governor campaign or have any association with Governor Deval Patrick. My only association with our current Governor is that I voted for him and his message to the people of Massachusetts when he ran for Governor. I still believe in him but the media you read will try to bring him down with all kinds of glorious headlines that mean nothing when it comes right down to the facts. Omission of the facts sells papers but real facts are everywhere around you.

Governor Patrick is on the air once per month on 96.9 FM radio in Boston and he takes calls from the people. He does not pull punches and if he does not say that he knows the answers he gets back to you at a later date. Governor Patrick is not hiding from the truth and that is the biggest problem for any journalist or venue that reports the news.

Deval Patrick’s only sin before he was elected Governor of the Bay State was that he has had no real political experience when it comes to the media and how they headline your weakest link. Unlike the days of FDR, there is no mercy in today’s media. You are guilty by print.

Boy is Governor Patrick a crook or what? NOT!

Continue your mission Governor Patrick and with God speed! I believe in you so do not let me down. My vote next term depends on it.

Bridge Inspections in High Gear

Given the realistic tragedy of the bridge collapse in Minneapolis it is somewhat of a relief to know that inspections of similar designed bridges in Massachusetts are a top priority of our state government. That is the kind of reaction every state in the nation needs from its political leaders. Yes, the deaths of the people in the Minneapolis bridge collapse was tragic but if just one life can be saved by someone inspecting our nations bridges then I would rather have them spend my tax dollars realistically evaluating the structural integrity of our bridges than discussing the damn topic.

All of the authority of our state and federal government should be thrown behind this endeavor to make sure that the infrastructure that supports our communities is sound. I’ve heard reports from reputable sources that many of our nations bridges were built prior to 1950. Having that little nugget of information tickling the back of my brain led me to this link associated with this story. “Bay State Bad Bridges” in the Boston Herald.

If our state and the federal government can find the money to build a self collapsing, leaks like a sieve, tunnel in Boston then we can find the money to fix or replace 560 “Deficient” bridges.

‘Structurally deficient’ rating eyed in Bay State: Looking for trouble

Defect-hunting state engineers are working overtime this weekend to inspect nine steel-truss bridges in Massachusetts - including Boston’s frail Longfellow Bridge - that have the same “structurally deficient” rating as the Interstate 35W span that collapsed Wednesday in Minneapolis, killing at least five people.

The “structurally deficient” rating does not necessarily mean dangerous, said Thomas Broderick, director of highway safety at MassHighway.

Reasons for the poor grade can range from an inordinate number of potholes to major structural damage, Broderick said.

“When it gets to the point where there is any imminent danger, we do close them,” he said.

Engineers also have reviewed the latest inspection reports of most of the 15 other Bay State steel-truss bridges similar in design to the doomed Minnesota span and have not yet found anything of concern, Broderick said.

They expect to finish reviewing the others by Monday night.

“We need to clean our house before we add any new additions,” said state Rep. Betty Poirier (R-North Attleboro), who said the governor’s pitch to extend a rail line to the South Coast is too much, too soon.

“We don’t have the money to maintain what we already have,” she said yesterday.

The collapse in Minneapolis has focused attention away from new projects and onto old ones. David Westerling of the Pioneer Institute said the timing is “uncanny.”

“You need to step back and appreciate what you have and take care of it,” said Westerling, co-author of a report detailing the state’s neglect of its infrastructure, especially the Longfellow Bridge, which connects Boston and Cambridge.

“We used the Longfellow Bridge as an example of deferred maintenance,” added the associate professor of civil engineering at Merrimack College.

“We are the stewards of the natural environment and the built environment.” - Boston Herald

It is up to every state Governor to take the reins and run with an intensive program to inspect all of their bridges. Go over the results of the inspection and call in the big guns also known as Congressional Members to get some help fixing or rebuilding problem bridges. Let’s concentrate on rebuilding our own infrastructure first before we toss billions down the drain rebuilding other peoples problems a long way from home.

Next time you are out driving around or have the unfortunate chance to be stuck in traffic, look around as you pass over or under a bridge. Drop a dime to your elected local officials. Call your local newspaper, call anyone you can think of.

In the days and weeks to come, somebody or for that matter several people in Minneapolis are going to loose their jobs for not doing enough. Bridges don’t just fall down because they want to. Bridges fall because the structure was weak or severely “Deficient”. Somebody somewhere reported on this bridges risk facts and somebody else ignored it. That is where this story will go next.

My heartfelt prayers go out to the people of Minneapolis that lost a loved one in this horrible event. I’m hoping and praying that the number of victims from this devastating disaster does not go higher. Unfortunately, as the days pass that will not be the case.

Here comes Imus…

Coming to a morning radio broadcast near you soon could be the evil wit and forever cranky voice of one Don Imus formerly of CBS Radio and WFAN of New York. Then again he could just be retiring with a hefty bonus package to leave CBS Radio alone. Since I can’t picture the later then I would speculate that he just might be on the air waves soon.

Settlement nearing in Imus, CBS talks

NEW YORK - The legal struggle between Don Imus and CBS Radio is nearing a settlement that would preempt the dismissed DJ’s threatened $120 million breach of contract suit against his former employer, a person familiar with the case said Friday.

While neither Imus’ attorney nor CBS Radio would comment on any aspect of the case, the person _ speaking to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity _ said the two sides were in the process of reaching an agreement.

It was unclear if a deal would return Imus to the airwaves, where he starred for 40 years before his April firing after directing a sexist, racial insult at the Rutgers women’s basketball team.

The possible settlement, first reported Friday in the New York Post, was the latest indication that the Hall of Fame broadcaster’s dramatic broadcasting demise could be reversed. The Rev. Al Sharpton, who spearheaded the "Fire Imus" movement, said last week that he would not oppose the 67-year-old DJ’s return to radio. - Boston Herald

Just for giggles and based on this story in the Herald I would bet money on Imus returning to the radio in a heartbeat. If he were to retire and give up the shock jock status it would go against every bone in his body. I honestly can not picture him walking away from it if there is a way for him to reclaim his microphone and head set.

If Imus was going to retire he would have unleashed the $140 million dollar lawsuit on CBS and left it at that. He didn’t and he could have within days of his being fired. That my friends is what a great lawyer like Martin Garbus does in the background to keep his client and CBS Radio out of court.

Dog Fighting Criminal Animals

There can not be enough punishment for the men or dare I say woman that train dogs to fight. This is the ultimate cruelty to animals and there is no way anyone with a rational mind could ever think that this is a sport. I can not imagine the pain and suffering that these poor animals go through to be trained to fight? How much cruelty do they endure endlessly to instill the ferocity and desire to survive when encountered with another animal trained in the same way?

I’m shocked that even an NFL Quarterback has his name linked to this disgusting form of animal abuse and it makes you wonder how sick of a human being he truly is? Is the paycheck from the Falcons not covering the mortgage? Trying to make a few extra dollars on the side to cover college costs or what? What the hell was Michael Vick thinking? One thing that is a fact, his days in the NFL are over and I don’t feel one damn bit sorry for him.

Monsters are supposed to live in children’s closets and not in our adult world. Apparently, they walk amongst us and hidden somewhere near you is a training class run by monsters to bring out the worst in mans best friend.

Pols bite back against dogfights: Gruesome sport called widespread

The gruesome nature of the competitive dogfighting that led to charges against Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick stunned Boston-area pooch lovers, but it came as no surprise to animal advocates and authorities.

“It’s not just in Atlanta but in every community,” said Scott Giacoppo, MSPCA deputy director of advocacy. “It’s very underground, very secretive. A lot of people attribute this type of activity to urban settings, but it often happens in very affluent communities.”

Maybe the State Legislature should make a law that these monsters have to be put in a cage with a pack of these dogs. Not their own dogs but ones that were trained by someone else. I know that that punishment is over the top and probably cruel but how much cruelty have these monsters doled out over the years to innocent animals before they were caught.

If you read the whole article, and I recommend that you do, this is not a poor mans so called sport. This is a very lucrative venue and slapping a small fine and even smaller threat of prison time is not going to make a dent in the participation in this cruel choice of entertainment. There needs to be a very disgusting fine for perpetrators convicted in the training or ownership of animals abused like this and the prison time should be up there with murder. How many animals are dying at the hands of these monsters every single day?

There is not a jury in the nation that would look kindly on this form of animal abuse and that is just how it should be. These are domesticated animals that are trained to be at the most primitive level of survival. When these poor animals do not perform well and loose, their owners revert to the most brutal form of animal abuse the news has ever reported. Men or woman that do this to them are not human in any form of the word.

Gay Marriage is Safe in Mass a Two Sticks…

What happened in Boston today really was not about Gay or Lesbian people having the ability or right to legally marry. Although I am very much in favor of gay marriage, today was really about our state Constitution and keeping it intact as a living working document that is fair for all citizens of the state. Placing any language in it that bans the personal rights of any individuals happiness is not for the place of government at any level.

The state Legislature has defeated a proposed constitutional ban on gay marriage, ending a three-year campaign to overturn its legalization after several lawmakers switched their votes in the final hours of a dramatic legislative battle.

The proposed constitutional ban was defeated in a roll-call vote of both houses of the Legislature shortly after 1 p.m. today, triggering a thunderous ovation by gay couples in the State House. The final tally was 151-45, giving supporters of gay marriage a victory by 5 votes.

The vote means the ban will be blocked from reaching the 2008 ballot, and that gay marriage has survived its final challenge, barring an unlikely effort to resurrect the ban at a later date. - Boston Herald

For all the folks that were demanding that gay marriage be banned in this state I’d suggest that you look around at your own family. Chances are that someone that you love very dearly is gay. Would it ever be right to deny that person the happiness of having a state recognized lifetime commitment? We should define marriage as love between two people and leave it at that.

Now that the state is out of the peoples personal lives can we get something done about matters that are really important? Is it true that cats and dogs are living together. Now that just isn’t right.

USMC Snubbed by VFW for Burial Reception

According to 96.9 FM Talk in Boston and Eagan & Braude the reception post the burial of a Rockland, MA native son, Walter K. O’Haire who was killed in Iraq serving in the United States Marine Corp was snubbed by the local VFW for a Bingo game. Apparently, the contract from the local Son’s of Italy was iron clad and the reception for a fallen soldier was passed on by the VFW to host the Bingo night.

I’m speechless.

Was the hall built for veterans and their families or was it built for Bingo players? Our kids are being killed serving our country and yet Bingo is a higher priority in the minds of the local VFW?

Fallen Rockland Marine is laid to rest

A hush fell over the hundreds in Rockland who clutched flags and saluted yesterday as the mournful procession arrived carrying the casket of fallen Marine Lance Cpl. Walter K. O’Haire on what would have been his 21st birthday.

From inside a limousine, his uncle, through tears, saluted back to the crowd, which included local schoolchildren, military families, area soldiers and veterans. Then the slow cadence of bagpipes began, breaking the silence.

“Wally saw himself as defending his country and his family,” said the Rev. James Hickey at Holy Family Church in Rockland. “All of that stuff was so important to him.” – Boston Herald

There is no logical explanation for why this happened and yet the mother of the 21 year old man holds no animosity toward the VFW. She buried her son and that was something that she needed to focus on and I offer my heart felt prayers to her and her family.

Howie Carr the Political Racist Columnist

If you have ever been graced with the reading of the Boston Herald they have some really great reporters and columnists that provide true journalism with a typical Boston twist. Much like all papers there are the people on the staff that dare to call themselves reporters or a columnist and are simply below the bar or severely lacking with the endowment or gift of the respected titles.

Back in the day of Billy Bulger and his iron clad hold on the state senate president’s office Howie Carr served a purpose as a much loved columnist to the Boston Herald paper and the people that spat out the grotesque and flagrant actions of a legislative body without an ounce of honest spirit in it. Billy Bulger is long gone and yet Howie Carr is still rambling on. Reaching for the stars and trying his damn well best to paint anyone even remotely liberal as a piece of crap.

His method of attack on anyone is simply to use his column as a bully pulpit and bash the intelligence of anyone he cares to bash. Democrats hold a favorite spot in his heart to publish away as incompetent infidels to his picture perfect idea of society. This week it’s our distinguished Senator John Kerry. Even better he was able to toss a stone among the many at Don Imus simply because John Kerry thought that the punishment did not fit the crime.

John Kerry - a day late and a dollar short, again.

Can we have an intervention, please? Stop this preening fool before he inserts foot in mouth again. The man has a disease. For Liveshot, one camera is too many, and a thousand are not enough.

Just consider the past couple of weeks. I know, he’s been out pushing a book, “This Moment on Earth.” But just because someone shoves a microphone into his face doesn’t mean he has to take the bait. Sometimes, you have to know when to leave something alone.

What’s the old saying? Sometimes it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.

So he’s out there hawking product when the story breaks about Hillary Clinton and Barry Obama raising record amounts of campaign cash in the first quarter. On top of that is the lingering John Edwards sympathy factor. Almost by the day, Kerry is an ever-more distant memory in the rearview mirror of history.

Liveshot’s reaction? He tells the first interviewer he runs into that perhaps he will be running for president again. Or maybe not.

See, he was running for president before he was not running for president before he was running for president before he was not.

Then there was his “debate” in D.C. with Newt Gingrich. Gingrich said nice things about Liveshot, almost hugged him, and then promptly collapsed in the Republican presidential polls. You might say Newt “pulled a Kerry.”

Next, along comes Don Imus, on whose abysmal talk show Kerry once uttered yet another botched joke about the Italian military, (and wasn’t Kerry fortunate his slur didn’t make anyone’s top 10 list of Imus embarrassments last week?).

Kerry’s people say he issued a statement last week denouncing the I-man’s racist crack. But like all the other Beautiful People, Kerry (for once) wasn’t exactly rushing out to the microphones to tell the TV audiences that maybe his pal the I-man should put his brown shirts away.

End of story?Not quite. This week, with Imus dead and buried, guess who stepped up and stepped into it?

In New York, Kerry was asked about it by a TV reporter, and he opined that the punishment should fit the crime.

Is it any more possible to wear your self espoused conservative die hard right wing mentality agenda and put it in print any more clearly than what Howie Carr (Wreck) does and get away with it. Can he just preach the hate and hypocrisy of his own article somewhere else? Canada could use a great liberal bashing columnist. No, we can’t do that to Canada, they might retaliate with someone twice as worse and extremely liberal. England could use a good right wing columnist like Howie. Any where but here works for me.

It is high time we point out the people that want to sell hate in no matter what form it is presented. Reporters preaching hate of any individual should receive the same treatment as Don Imus. They should be trashed and public opinion should be moved to force them out of a job. We should be pointing at the haters amongst us and casting them out of our society at large.

We should all take every sentence that every single writer in America writes and it should be reviewed by a legal court to decide what is offensive, racist, politically incorrect and shameful. We should start the investigations with Howie Carr of the Boston Herald. Once we have him canned lets move on to George Will. Then we can go after that old bugger from the New Yorker that has that snooty attitude toward the lesser educated amongst us. Frank Rich has to go next because he is just too extreme with his liberalism and self righteous attitude with every work he presents for print in the New York Times. Rush Limbaugh, jackpot of jack asses has got to go to the unemployment office and stop at the Target Pharmacy, Walgreen Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy, Brooks Pharmacy and one or two Mom and Pop Pharmacies after we get rid of his racist commentary against anyone that does no tow the strict line of rich folks against poor folks.

Any one at Fox News or works for the network should just pack your desk. Same goes for the New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, Houston Chronicle, Palm Beach Post, Boston Herald, all hell shut all the newspapers down.

Talk radio, umm, ya they are gone too. They talk about to many things that make people think. That isn’t good for a free America. Magazines other than the ones that do nothing but nice pictures of fuzzy bunnies and puppies, and babies are okay. While we are at it, the flag needs to be redesigned too! Any suggestions from anyone other than the stars and stripes forever will be appreciated?

While we are revising the Constitution and the freedom of the press somebody just might want to make a call into the White House and see if the President can go over to the Smithsonian with his burnt umber crayon and just draw a line through the first and second amendment. Then again, why stop at two amendments?

As much as one amendment seems to conflict with the other, neither can exist without the other.
