Condi Rice Admits Torture

Over at the Huffington Post they have a great story about a Stamford student asking the former Secretary of State Condi Rice if she was a part of the authorization of torture on American soil. Condi pulled a tricky Dick Nixon and more or less passed the buck up to President Bush that she authorized torture by direct order from President Bush. Kudo to The Young Turks for breaking this story and the Huff Po for blasting it out there on the internet.

I need to get my head into Soprano mode for a second here. If you are President and you tell your aka Captains to off somebody, because you are the President it is not against the law? What a sweet deal that is! If that is the case, lets assasinate that son of a bitch in Iran, Imadinnerjacket or whatever his name is. Then we should off that scumbag in South America Hugo Chevy or something or other is his name. Castro, he has to go. His brother too. Then we should get rid of them Teamsters and all them union people. Then we should go after the Jews and them pesky Catholics. Do you see a pattern here in this or should I go on?

Something tells me that this is only the top of the cake, just the frosting so to speak of everything Bush and Cheney did against the law and against the Constitution of the United States of America.

Condi Rice admitted in this taped conversation that she knew full well about torture when her boss was telling the American people that we as a country do not torture. And she passed on authorization and the orders to torture. If that isn’t gang land thinking then I do not know what is.

This matter is no longer in the Presidents pocket to squash. This is a matter for the Attorney General to enforce the laws of our nation regardless of whom it may charge with crimes against American law. Polls say that 61% of Americans do not want this prosecuted or followed through but that is not taking into consideration the number of people that have children or loved ones in the military that would never want these same “Enhanced Information Techniques” used against their loved ones. We are a land of laws and if this abomination of the law is ignored then it sets a very dangerous precedent for future Presidents or aka Kings.

The law is there for a reason, it sets boundaries and does not have a gray area to venture into and cross. If you break the law then you deserve to be prosecuted like Joe and Jane SixPack would be.

President Nixon crossed the line and resigned in disgrace over it. He broke the law. He stole the peoples trust. President Bush is guilty of the same crime. Defending America isn’t always about keeping us safe from harm, its about upholding our laws that our President’s swear to uphold on the holy bible.

Time will tell if the Attorney General has the guts to actually do his job or not.

Boehner Stimulated on Stimulus Package

Apparently, the main stream media elected Representative John Boehner of Ohio to the office of President of the United States. That and the fact that Democrats who took over the House, the Senate, and the White House on election day have been duped by a little known signing statement by former President George W. Bush that stated that no political party other than the Republican Party will be recognized by the press. Dick Cheney added his own personal signing statement that can not be released due to national security reasons and the fact that there were far too many expletives toward the Democrat Party.

Boehner is leading all of the news agencies around by the nose and telling them and the now also former President Obama how politics in Washington, D.C. is going to work. It is the Boehner way or the highway President Obama and you better get used to it! He's the Minority leader and you do not want him calling the ACLU on your ass!

The latest is that Boehner is “aroused” over the fact that part of the “stimulus” package is for perverted Democrats with their filthy dirty minded sex obsession. One little thought in the back of Boehner’s mind is that this is how so many of the little pukes voted Republican’s out of office. Waskilly wabbits! Somebody needs to stop them before they multiply again and no, we are not talking mathmatics educational stimulus. Over at Washington Monthly they have this to say…

STIMULUS AND CONTRACEPTIVES.... House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) appeared on "Meet the Press" yesterday, complaining about a proposed stimulus package. He noted, in particular, a proposal to spend "over $200 million for contraceptives." He asked, "How will this fix an ailing economy?"

Apparently, the contraceptives proposal has become quite an issue for conservatives. It was the lead story on Drudge this morning, far-right blogs are all worked up, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was quizzed on the spending on ABC yesterday.

What's this all about? Are Democrats trying to spend "over $200 million" on condoms? What's the story?

As you might have guessed, it's not quite as scandalous as conservatives would have you believe.

[T]he family-planning program that Pelosi supports expanding in the stimulus bill was created in 1972 under the leadership of Republican president Richard Nixon.
What's being proposed is an expansion in the number of states that can use Medicaid money, with a federal match, to help low-income women prevent unwanted pregnancies.
- Washington Monthly

Damn if I wasn’t right, President Nixon was onto the espionage and deceitful tactics of free love, sex and happiness, and the master plan of those flower wearing hippie liberals in the early 1970’s! Nixon was no fool, he knew that all that free love crap would lead to free Democrats and Independent voters one day that could vote and they had to be stopped.

Thus I propose a bait and switch tactic to President Obama and Speaker Pelosi on the sex stimulus part of the legislation. Instead of offering condoms or other forms of birth control we provide a free year of cable television. For those Liberals, Independents, and Democrats that promise to watch TV and not do the Mommy and Daddy thing, we upgrade their HBO package and include 158 channels that Reverend Ted Haggard and Reverend John Hagee can be seen on twenty four hours a day. Then in small print we offer Larry Craig ten million frequent flier miles. I think that would make most Republican’s happy enough to vote for the stimulus package.

Mr. Boehner should respectfully shut his pie hole and by all means offer to triple the “Contraceptive” stimulus package aka “Condoms For Good Republican Government” legislation. Doesn’t he realize that without the money to prevent pregnancies that all of us liberals will populate the nation by ten fold in eight years. From this point forward I am calling that future generation of Americans the KY generation.

Sit down and shut the hell up Boehner. President Obama has a nation to fix you smuck!

Bush “InteliGate” World Tour Debut

Over at the White House they are starting the process of cleansing themselves and the full administration of any evidence that they condoned any crimes. The latest news is that video tapes of severe torture cases were destroyed to protect the identities of the CIA in-terror-gators.

Today President Bush stated that he had no recollection of the tapes and their destruction. That is when you take a whiff to the air and ask yourself if you are near a cow farm full of bulls because something just does not smell right.

Over at the Washington Post they have this story on it…

Bush Does Not Recall Learning of Destroyed CIA Tapes
Senate's Second-Ranking Democrat Calls for Justice Dept. Probe

By William Branigin, Dan Eggen and Joby Warrick
Washington Post Staff Writers
Friday, December 7, 2007; 3:14 PM

President Bush does not recall being informed before yesterday morning about the existence or subsequent destruction of video recordings showing harsh CIA interrogations of terrorism suspects, the White House said today.

The recordings, which CIA Director Michael V. Hayden disclosed yesterday had been made in 2002 but destroyed three years later, set off a furor on Capitol Hill today, with the Senate's second-ranking Democrat demanding a Justice Department investigation.

Snip and tuck…

The tapes were made to document any confessions the two men might make and to serve as an internal check on how the interrogations were conducted, senior intelligence officials said.

All the tapes were destroyed in November 2005 on the order of Jose A. Rodriguez Jr., then the CIA's director of clandestine operations, officials said. The destruction came after the Justice Department had told a federal judge in the case of Moussaoui that the CIA did not possess videotapes of a specific set of interrogations sought by his attorneys. A CIA spokesman said yesterday that the request would not have covered the destroyed tapes.

The tapes also were not provided to the Sept. 11 commission, which demanded a wide array of material and relied heavily on classified interrogation transcripts in piecing together its narrative of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
- Washington Post

For some odd reason all I can think of is the Valerie Plame outing where good old George claimed no knowledge of the leak from inside the White House. He did however state that the person or persons responsible would no longer be working in his administration. I’m wondering if he and Dick ever laughed so hard in their lives? Now I’m wondering if they both went on vacation after he made that statement? Maybe he was telling the truth after all!

President Nixon only had the guts to delete a few minutes of his secretive tapes, George is bulk erasing everything he can get his hands on over at the CIA in Langley. This could be a huge job so our nation must sacrifice for the sake of the Presidency. The amount of electricity needed to delete all the crimes they have committed will take sixty eight waste to energy plants, 32,328 wind turbines, Niagra Falls power generated for six months, 1.2 million roof top solar panels and four D batteries (for Dick Cheney’s flashlight). Frankly, you have to admire his green energy initiative to get this critical job done.

This at least explains the amount of times the lights dim in your home or place of business. I’d of preferred that Nancy Pelosi would have started the impeachment process rather than having my lighting resemble a strobe light.

An Indecisive American People

In America today there is a strong and growing movement of people that once thought their voices did not count when it came to the policies of our government. There is some truth to the message that if you do not vote then you do not count but it is not the entire truth. Being an American does not mean that you have to vote, it simply helps the process of putting like minds in the offices you vote for.

Even if you do not vote, your government is still your government as a citizen. Your voice is still very important. Your life and your opinions matter. You are in fact a very important person in the ongoing experiment that is the United States of America. There is only one downfall to our form of government and that is when people believe that our government is not about them. That is the beginning of the end to our democratically elected servants to our republic. Or dare I say the beginning of an elitist government and society led by the needs of the few at the cost of the many.

As Richard Nixon tore down the respect of the political office of the Presidency, so has George W. Bush. Past lessons have been forgotten and the future of being respected as an American President will be up to future office holders to defend. Deciding what laws apply to the President alone when signing laws into effect is wrong and elitist at best. No American is above the law and never should be. We are a land of laws and rules that apply to all. Without them, we have anarchy and that is not a part of the American experiment.

In my mind, the office of President is not just about the power that comes with it. Being the President is about all of the people and sometimes it is about what the people want that is not to your personal liking. Yet it is the people that own the office and not the individual sitting behind the desk. If that was not the case then the descendants of George Washington would be a living and ruling Monarchy today. Am I wrong?

Get off the damn cell phone, computer, email or whatever seems more important and write or email your Representative in Congress on issues you care about. Tell them how you feel about any given issue. Be heard and wash, rinse and repeat.

Not doing that, then yes, special interest will walk away with our nation of laws that only apply to you. They get a waiver and walk away clean as a new born baby.

As an American you need to decide what you want from your leaders and more importantly what you do not want.
