KKK for RNC Chairman

Is the Republican party nuts or is it just me? Chip Saltsman sent out a CD with a very racist song concerning our next President and Republicans are actually now making excuses for this whack job. The song on the CD parodying Puff the Magic dragon with Barack the Magic Negro is more or less putting the KKK on the front line of the RNC and they seem to think it is all okay to do. Even Rush Limbaugh is cool with it because he thinks its comedy. Rush has even gone so far to throw up a link to the song on his site??? How about making a song about Rush the Pill Popping Junkie? Is that okay?

How far is the RNC willing to go to place itself as an extremist political party more in line with the politics of 1930’s Germany? Politico has this to say on the excuses spouting from the Republican’s in office on behalf of the racist scumbag Saltsman…

'Magic Negro' flap might help Saltsman

The controversy surrounding a comedy CD distributed by Republican National Committee chairman candidate Chip Saltsman has not torpedoed his bid and might have inadvertently helped it.

Four days after news broke that the former Tennessee GOP chairman had sent a CD including a song titled “Barack the Magic Negro” to the RNC members he is courting, some of those officials are rallying around the embattled Saltsman, with a few questioning whether the national media and his opponents are piling on.

“When I heard about the story, I had to figure out what was going on for myself,” said Mark Ellis, the chairman of the Maine Republican Party. “When I found out what this was about I had to ask, ‘Boy, what’s the big deal here?’ because there wasn’t any.”

Alabama Republican Committeeman Paul Reynolds said the fact the Saltsman sent him a CD with the song on it “didn’t bother me one bit.”

“Chip probably could have thought it through a bit more, but he was doing everyone a favor by giving us a gift,” he said. “This is just people looking for something to make an issue of.”

“I don’t think he intended it as any kind of racial slur. I think he intended it as a humor gift,” Oklahoma GOP Committeewoman Carolyn McClarty added. “I think it was innocently done by Chip.” - Politico

I’m sorry but I think racism at any level against anyone is simply disgusting and I can not look at it, listen to it, or even put up with it. This clown from Tennessee thinks its funny to use the word Negro when describing our next President and I find it EXTREMELY offensive. If you have to stoop that low to gain the power of your political party then you don’t have a clue as to what politics is truly all about. Let me explain… If I were of African American decent, and I happened to be in the House or the Senate or for that matter in the White House, I would never give this son of a biscuit eater the time of day. Matter of fact, one does not have to be of African American descent to do this. All of the Congress should participate in this. Additionally, I would lobby every other member of my respective house of government to ostracize Saltsman and every single bill he tried to get passed. Then I would work with his states political process to unseat him in the very next election even if I had to campaign every single available free moment. That is how you deal with morons that think it is okay to call my President, Barack Obama, a negro.

I’m a firm believer that we all must stand up against racism and now that fight goes on to defending our President’s heritage simply because of the color of his skin. Not one of the people in the Politco post would stand face to face with any black man and call him a negro but it is okay if Chip Saltsman does? This is bull and they are lying to themselves.

Just when we thought change in the American consciousness of race has happened we get idiots that remind us all that we have to keep pounding back at ignorance. Thus I end this post with screw you Saltsman you racist puke bag moron! I’ve got ten dollars to bet that you wouldn’t have the guts to call President Obama a negro to his face because you might just get punched out by a Jew, a Mick, a Whop, a Polack, a Ruskie, a Gook, a Fag, a Lesbo, a Spic, a Wet Back, a Canuck, a Chink, and a (insert your nationality hear) ______.

Ahmadinejad, The Voice of Iran?

Crooks and Liars has this 60 Minutes interview...

Tell me that George W. Bush is the voice of America and you will get an earful from over seventy percent of the population. Tell me that Ahmadinejad is the voice of the Iranian people and you will here this Irish American with his Iranian American friends that will have an earful for you.

On the other hand, we have to listen to Bush with his theory on who is a terrorist. This is America and the man is welcome within the 25 miles of the United Nations because we are a nation of diplomats and peace keepers. We used to be anyway, and I’m sticking with my theory that we are a nation of peace keepers.

Let us just put this visit by the distinguished leader of Iran as what it is. It’s a rock star tour without the music, without the roadies that follow the bands, without the groupies and head bangers. Like Madonna or the Rolling Stones he is out on tour selling his music but the sad fact is that America can’t stand the lyrics. Something about September Eleventh and the chorus just doesn’t work.

What does work for him in his favor is that he has the guts to even come to this nation, a nation at war with world terrorism and speak at one of the greatest institutions our country has. NEW YORK, Sept. 24 -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was greeted with student protests and withering public criticism during a visit to Columbia University Monday in which he defended his government's human rights record, denounced Israel and rejected U.S. efforts to restrict Iran's nuclear program.

Speaking to students and faculty at Columbia a day ahead of his scheduled address to the United Nations General Assembly, the hard-line Iranian president also asserted that his people, including women, "enjoy the highest levels of freedom," and he claimed that homosexuality does not exist in his country. - Washington Post

Okay, this is where I change my opinion of this guy from Iran that says he speaks for all Iranian’s and wants a peaceful world for all men and woman. There are no homosexuals in Iran? Did they move out? I have to wonder if they moved or were just shot? If this guy isn’t in the closet then there is a serious issue with his entire concept of humanity and the percentages of life on this planet. Something does not smell right and it isn’t the dumpster at the back of the United Nations.

It gets better or it gets worse depending on your political philosophy. You know how history has recorded the deaths at the hands of the Nazi’s. It did not happen that way according to this President of Iran. Nope, never happened. No wait, he’s changing his story. But you have to look at Palestine to prove it! HUH?

Ahmadinejad, who in the past has argued that Israel should be "wiped off the map," repeated his assertions that the Holocaust should be researched "from different perspectives" and said Palestinians should not be "paying the price for an event they had nothing to do with." - Washington Post

Rather than thinking that all Iranian people back this man one hundred percent we should look at him as not a man of the world stage that he is performing on. Reality, facts, and the facts of history are obviously not in the hallowed halls that is the Iranian Government if this man is the voice of Iran.

One of my closest friends that came from Iran and became an American who is also Jewish told me of the non stop persecution of people for any reason if you did not follow the set down by the religious government. That is why his family came to America. Same scenario was happening in the 1600’s here on our shores and the same thing will continue here as long as freedom is our beacon to the world. Religious persecution and personal sexual orientation is not in Iran because they force you out. Welcome to America.

One last thought. While this son of a bitch Ahmadinejad is preaching there are no homosexuals in Iran, how many other facets of human kind are not allowed in Iran. In the same breath you have to wonder how much of his personal philosophy is just right in line with our own President?
America used to be about diplomacy and talking to people and settling our differences. Even Ronald Regan talked with the Evil Empire! Bush talks to no one, and not one person listens in turn.

If our nation has no diplomacy or reaction to settle our differences around the world then America is no better than the administration that was Nazi Germany before World War II in Berlin.

Media Hype or Bush being Chicken Little?

I’m not sure if I should wear my bullet proof vest to work tomorrow or just wear a polo shirt? I tend to watch the news and actually READ many different points of view from many different avenues of news information. Which makes me wonder now why I do not trust any information from the main stream media?

If I take them literally I’m going to die tomorrow in a hail of bullets from someone from Iraq or Iran or someone from Al-Kill-You-All. I’m thinking about looking at what Al-Jazeer has to say more than what NBC, CBS, ABC or CNN has to say anymore.

With all the latest hype over attack on our nation any moment I tend to be worried and scared for my five daughters but then again we could all be hit by a meteor that will obliterate our entire species world wide according to some folks in NASA as well. Death, destruction, and absolute fear seems to be what the RNC is selling. Anyone want to buy that and if you do, if you have a coupon will they honor it?

CNN is pushing the Republican message of being very afraid…

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- So let's cut to the chase on the new National Intelligence Estimate: Does it show America is safer today than it was on September 10, 2001 -- or not?

President Bush's top aide on terrorism, Fran Townsend, briefed the press on the NIE Tuesday.

Getting a straight answer is not easy, especially with so many acronyms flying around -- this is an NIE from the DNI (director of national intelligence) that took into account intelligence analysis from the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) and ... well, you get the idea.

Then there's the reaction from the White House, which is downright confusing. On the one hand, the White House does not dispute the findings of the report, which declares: "The United States currently is in a heightened threat environment," especially from al Qaeda.

But on the other hand, White House Homeland Security Adviser Fran Townsend asserts President Bush's claim that al Qaeda "is on the run" is still applicable.

On one hand, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff says just days before this report he has a "gut feeling" there could be a summer terrorist attack in America. But on the other hand, Townsend reiterates Chertoff's claim that there's "no specific, credible threat" against the United States right now.

Adding further confusion, this report re-ignites the ferocious debate over whether the war in Iraq took the president's eye off the broader war on terror, a point I pressed hard today in an on-camera White House briefing with Townsend.

(She and I have previously joked good-naturally off-camera about another back-and-forth we had in December 2006, when I asked her to admit that not catching Osama bin Laden is a major failure and she countered that capturing him is merely a "success that hasn't happened yet." Jon Stewart on "Comedy Central" had a field day with that exchange that even White House officials found amusing). - CNN

I’m grabbing the kids and heading to the bunkers. Just like the Vice President we have them all over Worcester. The government built them just after 9/11 to protect all of our citizens in America. I’m sure that you must have them in your town as well or you must not have voted Republican in the last election. Al Qaeda, Ali Baba, and his brother Al Pay ya Back are going to kill us all. President Bush says so and that is good enough for me.

Even the Iraqi President, Premier, head honcho does not want America in his country anymore. Get our troops home and let the Iraqi people deal with their own family dysfunctions. Let us take our God home and let them define their own religious belief amongst themselves. How they do it should not be up to any American President or political party. It is their damned country and I do mean damned.

Political Honesty

Politicians are great at telling you what you want to hear all the time. Sometimes when you actually get the chance to meet a real elected politician you can feel the sense of being in the presence of greatness and you should. Then again you have to remember that they use the same damn bathrooms you do and some of them do not wash their hands as often as they should.

We all know that the President has the Congress by the old short gray hairs and his trump card is the military. As much as this President wants to continue his private war in Iraq is just as much the same levity as the Congress wanting to end the war in Iraq. From two perspectives there has to be one and our nations military can not and should not be a pawn in this chess game of millionaires. Moving a Rook to take a Bishop is one thing but having to move the entire chess board to take down the King is another task.

From my perspective the new Congress has no clue how to play the game of chess that is politics and the President is very confident in his game. Just look at all the pieces that he has sacrificed to win his will? There is no piece on the board including the Queen that is not disposable. Pelosi and Reid are playing a weak strategy and the President is taking them out for a walk around the board. Check Mate is not truly in their game plan. Time is what they are counting on and that is a very weak strategy and the President knows it.

While he watches all the players fall around him he will survive because they are not strong enough to win the game that is Washington politics. Just as in chess games by the masters in the middle of play you are not thinking about your next move but ten moves later and that is where the President has the Congress. He is set in his strategy and they are fumbling on what the next move is.

Knight has the King at check mate is not in this Congress ability and President Bush knows it. All of his Pawns that are the Military are the Democrats weakest link and the President has no problem putting them in harms way to protect his spot on the board. It is political suicide to go against our sons and daughters in battle and Bush knows it and lives it.

Pieces on the chess board sacrificed by President Bush are numerous but the will of the voting people of America is stronger than the Presidency. That is one move he never planned on.

Pawn takes King.
