Biden Beeyatch Slaps Cheney

Former Vice President Cheney is no longer under his rock in an undisclosed location and for the record from this political writer, I liked it better when he was under the rock. There should be laws across the land against letting shotgun misfiring, drunken Vice President’s out in public. Can we at the least insist on the Ogre rule and that all of them should keep to their swamps and whatever dwelling they choose to habitat once they are OUT of political office. I’m not sure about you but I am fed up with this piece of crap former Vice President, let me repeat that last part, VICE PRESIDENT, dictating to the new America what a screw up President Obama is. Has Cheney looked in the mirror and at his former “Deciderer” in Chief? Cheney spouts off as if he was the President which leads me to ask the obvious question, who was the actual President Dick?

Vice President Joe Biden has had enough too and he more or less told Dick Cheney to stop being… Umm, a close resemblance to the mail reproductive organ. Over at CNN, VP Biden slapped the Dickster upside the head with his Darklord gloom and doom thoughts on President Obama…

Dick Cheney has no clue as to what the respect of the office of President is. Former Presidents like W. have shown an amazing amount of control in keeping his thoughts to himself. Ya don’t hear squat from W. because he knows how tough the job is and the last thing you need to hear is a former wannabe a W. preaching to the quire as to what the President should or should not do. Dick Cheney should go back to his hidey hole and just stay there. Not a damn peep out of ya Dick or we will sick the attack dog in full force on ya. Friging Puttz!

What is Palin Hiding?

One issue that has bothered me for a while is the release of medical records by all of the candidates for President and Vice President. Barack Obama released his, Joe Biden released his, and John McCain released his for a couple of hours. Governor Palin has yet to release her medical records and that should fire off a flare in political reporting but it has not. What is Sarah Palin afraid of that is in her medical records?

Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Dish has been asking for her medical records for months and still no records. Early last week the Palin team stated that the records would be released and yet a week later, nothing?

Still AWOL. No explanation. Not even a gesture, which suggests to me that some in the McCain camp realize they'd rather release nothing than be implicated in anything that might hurt them after the election. Only ABC News' Kate Snow seems to care. Only this blog has really pursued this story for two long months. For the record, I find the idea that a vice-presidential candidate refuses to either give a press conference or release full medial records as a dreadful precedent for transparency. -The Daily Dish

I have to agree with Andrew Sullivan in thinking that Mrs. Palin has something in those records that just might be scandalous and very detrimental to the McCain campaign for President. One can only assume that the worst possible information is written down in black and white in her medical records and that the immediate news flash could end her political career. If not, then what is Sarah Palin hiding?

Family Doubts Raised on McCain - Palin

The stories of doubt and lack of full support are popping up against John McCain and Sarah Palin not only from conservatives but from their own family members. Frankly, I’m not overly surprised seeing that John McCain had only briefly met Governor Palin just twice before he picked her to be his Vice President nominee.

Not that your own mother-in-law’s vote should be any measure but you have to give her some credit for not blindly throwing her full support behind Governor Palin as Vice President. Over at the New York Daily News they have this to say about it…

Then you have the outright declaration that Cindy McCain’s half sister is definetly voting for Barack Obama. Over at US Magazine they had a little chat with Kathleen Hensley Portalski and this is what she had to say…

Cindy McCain's half sister is planning on voting for Barack Obama, she tells Usmagazine.com.

"I'm not voting for McCain," Kathleen Hensley Portalski tells Us. "I have a different political standpoint.
"I'm voting for Obama," the Phoenix resident says. "I think his proposals to improve the country are more positive and I'm not a big war believer."

Portalski, 65, and the potential first lady, 54, have the same father: Jim Hensley, the founder of the beer distributor Hensley and Co. that Cindy McCain now chairs.

SNIP - Looks like more of the family not jumping on the McCain-Palin band wagon.

Portalski's son Nathan, a 45-year-old aerospace machinist, is also backing Obama.

"I wouldn't vote for John McCain if he was a Democrat," he tells Us. "I would not vote at all before I'd vote for him.

"I question whether Cindy is someone I'd want to see in the White House as first lady," he adds. - US Magazine

It should be an interesting Thanksgiving dinner for these two families this year?

Obama - Clinton Ticket?

No matter how you look at the Presidential election it is a first in our nations history for the record books. We as Democrat’s are deciding between a woman for President and an African American and that in itself is worthy of the vote alone. The Democrat’s are going to win the Presidency in the next election by a landslide and that is pretty much a fact if you simply look at the number of Democrats voting. Be it the Clinton campaign or the Obama campaign the people they have driven to vote are voting in larger numbers than McCain could ever hope to beat.

This election is so close that there is a possibility that it will come down to the Democrat convention in Denver on who the candidate for President will be from the Democrat Party. Given current trends and voting results it would be a blood bath that the party does not want. Somewhere in the middle is the solution and it may have already been discussed by the two candidates. Clinton hints at Obama as possible running mate

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Energized by a series of wins that revitalized her presidential campaign, Sen. Hillary Clinton hinted on Wednesday at a possible joint Democratic ticket with rival Barack Obama.

In two television interviews, hours after she scored critical primary victories in Texas and Ohio that helped revive her presidential bid, Clinton was asked about a joint bid with the first-term senator from Illinois.

"Well, that may ... be where this is headed, but of course, we have to decide who's on the top of the ticket," Clinton said on the CBS "Early Show." "And I think that the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me."

In an interview on MSNBC, Clinton noted that both she and Obama had been asked if they would pick the other as their vice presidential running mate.

"Obviously, it's premature for either of us to address it," she said.

She added: "There is a lot of ... interest in that. Many Democrats are hoping for that. We have to sort through this nominating process to see ... who ends up as the nominee.
"But we're going to put together a winning ticket. The most important thing is winning in November." - Reuters

Yes there are many states still to vote but the idea of an Obama Clinton for President is not only a good one but the only solution to merge the ideas and energies of both campaigns in one common goal. Beating John McCain to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!

Talk about who will be on top of the political ticket is almost pornographic when it comes to talk radio on this topic. That might make Bill smirk with amusement but this is an election to change the path of America and many people are down right serious about it. If there ever was an election in American history then this one is all of that and more.

Both Democrat’s are for ending the war in Iraq and McCain is not. Both candidates are for universal health care and McCain is not. Both candidates are for retrofitting our education system and nobody knows where McCain is on that issue. Both candidates are running against the Presidency and sell out of America by George Bush and John McCain just accepted President aka Emperor Bush endorsement at the White House. One common thought in the Democrat candidates is that you will not have George Bush part two in the next President and the nation will face a new path. A new destiny where America will talk to the world rather than insulting the world with a nation building policy.

No matter who wins all of the primaries, be it Obama or Clinton, it would be a death throw to the Democrat’s if either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama do not pick the other for a Vice President running mate. Both are strong candidates for the Presidency and both would offer more to the American people if they were united against whatever John McCain throws at them come the November election. Voters are united on the Democrat side of the aisle on the issues and together this would be a super ticket to shun the more of Bush ideology that Republican John McCain is offering.
