Limbaugh Declared King of GOP

All across the news this weekend is the holier than Obama word of Rush Limbaugh dictating his desires on where his Grand Old Party is going to be politically in the weeks and months to come. Limbaugh aka Rush, reiterated his stance that he hopes and prays that President Obama fails in all his efforts to revive our economy, the world economy, and turning the unemployment trend around. I would have to say that that would be a fair description of good old boy Rush’s speech at the richer than God CPAC conference. Check CNN out for the video of it all. Get the actual transcript with audience responses noted throughout from his Lordship himself here.

Make no doubts about it, I want to predict right here and right now that the fat son of a biscuit eater is running for the GOP slot in the next Presidential election! No offense to people with a weight problem or those of us that love to eat our mom’s fresh hot biscuits right out of the oven. Over at the Huffington Post they have this to say on it…

At his closing speech at the CPAC conference, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh doubled down on his widely-controversial claim that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail, insisting that he meant what he said, and chastising those who were critical of him.

"This notion that I want the president to fail, this shows you the problem we've got. This is nothing more than common sense and to not be able to say it? Why in the world would I want what we just described: rampant government growth, wealth that is not being created yet is being spent? What is in this, what is possibly in this that any of us want to succeed? Did the Democrats want the war of Iraq to fail? They certainly did. And they not only wanted the war in Iraq to fail they proclaimed it a failure.... They hoped George Bush failed. So what is so strange about being honest and saying I want Barack Obama to fail if his mission is to restructure and reform this country so that capitalism and individual liberty are not its foundation?"

The crowd, watching in three individual ballrooms because of overcrowding, went absolutely wild.

After watching most of the blah, blah, blah gas bag speech of Rush, I had to go to the bathroom to physically vomit. From everything that I heard and saw him say, he’s pissed that his political party lost the last two elections but still wants things the way they were. Grow up Rush, go stand in the corner and count off the days till your political party looses the next election too in 2012.

Rahm Emanuel has it coined that Rush Limbaugh is the official spokesperson of the GOP and even the GOP should be terrified of that depiction. Technically, Rush Limbaugh is the only talking head for the 20% that still think President Bush was doing a fantastic job right up to the minute he and the rest of his defunct political party left office. Over at Politico they have this to say on King Rush…

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel charged Sunday that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is “the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party.”

Emanuel, speaking in deliberately soothing tones, told anchor Bob Schieffer on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Limbaugh has been up front about “praying for failure” by President Obama.

“I think that’s the wrong philosophy for America,” Emanuel said. “What Americans want us to do, and what President Obama has been very clear about, is work together setting our goals …

“Our goal, Bob, is to continue to reach out and it’s our desire that the Republicans would work with us and try to be constructive, rather than adopt the philosophy of somebody like Rush Limbaugh.”

I think that we can sum up that the extreme far right of the GOP is trying to make a grab for power of the party and the heir apparent is none other than his royal Hiney-Ass Rush Limbaugh. Count your blessings that he has not one son or daughter to continue his vengeful reign. Then again, if Rush Limbaugh and Ann Culter ever hook up that would pretty much put Rose Mary's Baby to shame.
