Trumps Inigma Machine

The time has come when former President Trump is facing justice.  It is an ugly scene for our democracy.  The battles of lawyers in our courts have come and ended with 34 felony counts of guilty as charged.  And yet he rages on relentlessly knowing that he can continue without consequences simply because he can pay more lawyers and delay the truth.  A mockery of his own social media company called Truth whatever it is.

The sad part is that he has succeeded in dividing America and her people into what is the truth.  The truth is that what America is based on.  We are a land of law first.  No man is above the law.  There is no “Alternative Truth”.  An orange is an orange no matter how you slice it.  It is still an orange.

The current news and social media are filled with all kinds of memes and jokes and lies and alternative truths.  The result is that America has a problem with a former president being convicted of multiple charges.  Can America survive this embarrassment that he created?  I don’t know.

One thing I know for sure is that Donald J. Trump broke the law.  He was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers and found guilty.  He will be sentenced.  That is what would happen to you and me.  Sentenced to several years in jail.  Maybe not for Trump.  He can appeal and pay on his own for lawyers for fifty years after he has preverbally taken the long dirt nap that we all must face.  You and I, not so much.

The enigma machine that is Trump will continue and call our justice system hijacked and bastardized.  Judges and juries somehow manufactured and created to just get him and thus you.  His truth of facts is the ultimate falsehood, and he has no problem spewing it out there.  Our choice as Americans is to listen or not.  We have that right when we vote.  And we also have that right when die hard supporters support Trump over the rule of law when they put their names on a ballot.  All this hyperbole can be solved by just voting.  If Trump and his supportive elected people are elected, then that is democracy.  If they are not, that too is democracy.  The people will decide, and it will be just like the jury that found Trump guilty on 34 counts.
