Gas Prices at the Pump

Just wondering if anyone else but me has noticed the consistent prices at the old gas pumps lately? I gassed up last week with thirty bucks worth at $2.85. Then again over the weekend with another twenty bucks worth at $2.87. Today I stopped by the old station and the price was back to $2.85? Is this just a central Mass. phenomenon or is it something more?

How did the prices stabalize so quickly? Hmmmmm?
