The New Age of Aquarius

Long ago I learned from a very wise man, if you don’t listen then you can not hear. America needs some serious change and it can not be done with just any single political party. Unification of thought on what is best for America has to come to the forefront of all American’s. We are in unchartererd territory as a generation and the next generation of American’s will have to live with our decisions today decades from now.

The people we called hippies and war activists in the lates sixties and early seventies are now grandparents with a voice. But the legacy of the generation is still here for a reason. We need to speak up but we need to have a common voice to move forward as a people.

Is this song not relevant? A couple of decades late but I think it is relevant. We all have a battle ahead of us and our love for America must come first in this crisis…

While most of the main stream right wing media is blaming President Elect Obama for all of our current troubles, I feel the need to remind everyone that he has not even taken the oath of office for President of the United States yet! And yet he is working his ass off on all of our behalf and working with President Bush and the Congress on the current financial crisis facing America. Can a person be blamed for doing the job before they even start the job? Is that not what the media is doing to President Elect Obama? Tell me I am wrong!!!

Take a deep breath and hum along to the words in the song, close your eyes and just listen… Can we then just give the new President when he is sworn in a chance at fixing the problems?

While everyone closes their eyes, and perhaps another hit while we all hum along, Muslims and their god of war will continue to spread hate and murder. Their hate is for freedom, women's rights, homosexuality, and religious liberty. Their religion teaches them that peace will only come by showing no mercy. Mercy is only given to those that convert and worship their god of slavery, hate, and war. They hate all Americans equally no matter what politics they are. They hate all Christians and Jews. Tolerating their hateful views will only encourage their views to grow.

We have many things we must unite on before they will be solved. The war against militant Islam and for the ultimate survival of civilized society and liberty should be the first one we unite on.

Papamoka, what's the song? I'm on dial-up connection and cannot play videos.

Jay, your knowledge of Islam is lacking. "Muslims and their god of war." Muslims, Christians and Jews worship the same God with different names.

Might be time to drop the FEAR of being attacked in your little corner of the world, and start worrying about folks starving to death if Obama is not supported in bringing us together to form a future.

Your comment defines exactly how Muslims must have felt when Christian Crusaders swept across their lands.

I am Christian, Jay, with a little knowledge of history. I find your comment uninformed and offensive. There are radicals in every religion who do not at all define that religion - Chrisianity included.

Tiny has to agree with Papamoka and BJ. We are in the midst of being able to bring about positive change if the hatemongers in this country will sacrifice their hate for positive unity for the good of all humankind.

Remember the Age of Aquarius is the age of enlightment, which if learned and applied will bring unity and peace. The information is available to all who seek it.

Jay, give it a try and see if it enlightens your mind to a positive world view of hope and peace for all humankind.

A great teacher once said, "Fear not those who can destroy the body, but fear those who can destroy the soul." Jay, hate destroys the soul. Two contraries, Love and Hate, cannot dwell in the same vessel. So you have a choice of which you let dwell within you.
