Tea Bag Revolt
Umm, I kid you not. Apparently, our brothers and sister on the right side of the political spectrum are not up to speed on the whole Tea Bagging terminology and lingo of today. Note to self: Mail a copy of Hustler magazine to the RNC Chairman Michael Steele.
Jon Stewart has this to say about indignation nation…

Then of course we have this from Rachel Maddow who could barely keep a straight face while reporting on “Tea Bagging Obama”…

Sometimes Papamoka reminds me ot this line from the adorable “Spike” in the movie “Notting Hill:” “Up for a big videofest tonight? I’ve got some real classics.”
Sure wish I could view them, especially now that I’ve given up expanded basic cable and get NOTHING in the way of news on basic only.
Don’t know if this is covered in any of the videos, but see “Corporate lobbyists behind tea party ‘uprising’ ” atop my sidebar at demwit.blogspot.com
Buds, BJ
They're not real up-to-speed on current personal-ad code abbreviations either....
OMG Infidel!!! ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!
That was to damn funny bro... LOL!
For anyone reading this post and Infidels comment you have to click on his link to Rachel Maddow.
I'm sorry BJ! I so wish that you could see this stuff my friend. You would laugh your ass off I'm sure.
OK, I clicked on "personal ad code abbreviations." The Daily Dish came up. Nothing but a big white square that I could NOT read. Nothing below that. Somebody PUH-LEASE let me in on the joke. Word pictures are good. Just email me, Mat, so you won't spoil for others. BJ
Email has been sent BJ. That was embarassing to explain to my adopted Mom. I should be sent to my room with no super! Then wash my typing fingers and mouth out with soap... ROFL
Oh, and BJ, Infidel's link is a video and that is probably why you could not see it. Dial up issue.
Right now, the biggest issue in my life is that I have spent the entire weekend with a critter in my townhouse which I CANNOT SEE. From the sound of it as it makes the grand tour of my kitchen, jumping from countertops to table and back, it might be either a raccoon or a kangaroo. Apartment manager is lucky she didn’t get a call on Easter and will be contacted first thing Monday morning. I am reminded of the Jerry Clower (late Mississippi comedian) story about being up a tree with a bobcat, “Shoot up here amongst us; one of us has got to have some relief.”
How’s that for changing the subject? ;-) BJ
Call the fire department or the Police BJ! You don't know how it got into your home? If you can't see it then you need help.
Call somebody or rap on a neighbors door! Damn! God bless you for waiting this long.
Keep me posted on what it actually was! PLEASE!!!
It ain’t “was,” it “is.” LOL. All the neighbors have had a look-see, but the darn thing goes into hiding the minute anyone shows up. I might be writing my own version of “Arsenic and Old Lace.” What we don’t want this critter to be is a red herring away from the premise of your post! (I am typing quietly as I think he/she is asleep.) I suspect the poor critter is more afraid of me than I of it. BJ
LOL!!!!!!
Every single time Rachel reports on this I die!
Many thanks!
;o)

But, Papa, what is your take on the tea parties?
Del,
I think it is their right to protest and I applaud them for it. I just happen to be a strong Obama supporter and I think their arguements are wrong. Where were all of these concerned citizens when President Bush gave the Treasury away to all of his friends? Where were they when he busted the surplus that Clinton left behind and I admit the help of Republicans and the Contract for America?
Welcome to the group Del, you are going to have some fun here.
