Bea Arthur Tribute
Beatrice Arthur passed away at the age of 86 and I have to thank her for playing a part that was near and dear to her heart as Maude. I remember very clearly watching this one episode as a kid and laughing my skinny little but off. Rest in peace Bea, God bless you and keep you near and dear.
This is a two part You Tube of an original Maude episode. Please feel free to visit the Amazon links below if you feel the need to see more of the hit shows that Beatrice Arthur starred in. Maude was classic television comedy from Norman Lear and that began her rise to fame on the old TV. She was an amazing actress and her comedic skills only improved in the hit series Golden Girls. - Papamoka

Maude was Edith's cousin.
I stand corrected... Thanks David! :)
Maude was a heroine to many women. She said what she thought during a time when women were taught to not "make waves." She gave a voice to many who had been silent and provided an outlet in a way that made us all laugh.
