One thing in my life is certain, my baby girls will always love their daddy and I will always love them. When you really get down to basics, all Americans really love America and always will. I’m seriously troubled by the mass media exploiting the worst of both sides of the political aisle when it comes to every legislative or political discussion. Fox News is just as guilty as MSNBC with lighting the torches and passing out the pitch forks to the masses.
I’m not going to say one side is better than the other in this post but I find some of the media tactics pretty disgusting. One side of the political spectrum is raising the worst of the base so the other side retaliates, then it gets spun into hyperbole that has nothing to do with the original issue. Pick an issue, it doesn’t matter anymore. Our nation has become a media generated revolution waiting for first blood to be spilled.
Can we stop in the name of love for America. I hope we all at the least have that in common.

It isn’t so hard to listen, think, and come to the middle of the discussion without beating the life out of your political opponent when it comes to any issue that is an American problem that needs to be solved. We are all better than what we see and hear as the real debate.

Mat you always bring us back down to reality! Lots of bullshit going on at my place that I didn't think would happen, but it's a new day and a new post! I love the old Supremes songs, I remember well I was in 4th grade and got the Supremes album for Christmas and white GoGo boots and me and sisters played Supremes with hairbrush microphones! Aaaah the sweet good old days..

We all have loved ones who fill our hearts.
Personally, it’s terribly hard for me to smoke a peace pipe with people I perceive put themselves first before the needs of others and before their love of country.
Let’s face it, Mat, MSNBC is the left’s Fox News. That is why I’m concentrating on more news, less opinion. I want to get the facts and trust myself to form my own opinion!
Of course, as bloggers we write opinion because that’s the prupose of a personal blog, but we sure as hell need to be certain what we say is fact-based. That’s why I pepper my posts with source links which document my claims.
Anyway, love you, guy! Have a great weekend with the girls! And, hey, your readers need a post about Hazel Marie! Is she walking?
BJ
She isn't walking yet but very soon she just might be. I have a picture of her from my daughters myspace page of little Hazel standing up holding a steering wheel of a car. Love it!
If Hazel Marie is standing up and holding onto things, she's going to take off soon and never look back! BJ
