Politcal Polling
First question in the poll... Would you vote for a political candidate for President based on just a television advertisement? And Why?
Second question, do you trust the mains stream media when reporting on all of the candidates? And Why?
Vote away in the comments...

1) No. I ignore most political television ads (except for giggling over the "and I approve this" part). Candidates have that tiny slot of time, the length of the ad, to catch our attention and try to wow us into seeing only what they want us to see. Since the time is so short, wow us is exactly their aim. At the most, it should be considered entertainment. Also, not every candidate, not even every worthy candidate, advertises on TV.
2) No. All of the candidates are not given equal or even any air time or focus. However, the vote is shaped to a great extent by whatever slant is cast by MSM. Not that it's acceptable.
First question: No, they're not really informative.
Second question: No, the media looks for stuff to boost the ratings, they really don't give you substantive stuff...well, sometimes, but most times not.
Why do the cable talk shows ignore Edwards?
