Healthcare Anti-Reform Payola

My good friend is kind enough to email me her posts on various issues that she covers in her blog and I look forward to reading her thoughts on many issues. We don’t always agree but many times we see eye to eye. If you care to get a glimpse as to where the money trail is in the Congress concerning healthcare debate then please check out Demwit for the full transcript of a very biting commentary from MSNBC host Keith Olbermann. There are no punches pulled on this emotional issue when it comes to the folks cashing the payola checks from the healthcare industry against the current legislation proposed.

This is the video link from MSNBC. I can honestly say that I have never seen such a passionate commentary in my life. Wow!



As a moderate liberal and democrat I propose a Bill O’Reilly type ban on anyone in the Congress that votes against reforming healthcare. And you would show your ban enforcement by first voting against the perpetrators of this crime against humanity, and secondly, by contributing to whomever is their opponent during the next election cycle.

You know that this legislation is scaring the hell out of the healthcare industry when they are spending an estimated $1.2 million dollars per day against it! The old saying is true, follow the smoking money and you will find the fire. That amount of money is almost as much spent per day running for the Presidency.

    How about this irrational kook? Nevermind the kooky Olberman with his lockstep promotion of every policy put forth.
    Of course the democrats aren't in bed with any lobbyists.

    I think it is fair to say that eventually there will be a single payer system. If the government can not rely on the private insurance healthcare system to clean up its act then the government has to break them down just like they did big oil under TR. How long do we let one industry pass on 20% increases year after year while cutting back on the services paid for? That is the main reason this is such a hotly debated issue.

    Matt I saw Keith last night and it was an upfront honest commentary all should see!! No punches pulled here, he named names on both sides!! Its all about money and I for one am friggin sick of the whole bunch of them! God give Obama the courage to follow thru with this reform once and for all!! I don't understand what Lisa is trying to say, do you!?

    And I forgot to mention, Olbermann didn't leave the Dem's out of his commentary. Anyone with a clear head knows that there is a lobbyist on every side of every issue, sometimes there are thousands. I forget who gave this statistic out but it was stated that there are more lobbyist employees in Washington, DC than there are Federal Government employees.

    Crock pot pork tenderloin with honey barbecue sauce and a 1/3 cup apple vinegar. Cook on low for six hours and serve it up with white rice and a couple of cans of French style green beans. Kids go nuts over it. Bring your finger licking utensils... LOL!

    Oh, and Lisa, on that video claiming they are heading toward a one payer system. The White House already has a rebuttle and apparently it was taken out of context. Which is what I basically thought anyway. Check it out over at Politico.

    I know Matt,the Whiotehouse has become the master of rebuttal.It's all BS I should just trust anything they force down our throats My Bad!
    I should really start to trust the government more they are so "For the People". Problem is what people?
