My first thoughts were that former President Bush still has diplomatic immunity but that little priveledge goes bye-bye according to the group of lawyers in Canada when it comes to suspicion of torture. Over at MSNBC and Keith Olbermann they have this interview and discussion on the topic...

I'm wondering if the Royal Canadian Mounties will finally get their man? We shall see. I have to call my buddy Rush Limbaugh to see if we should start raising bail money for the former President.

Papa!!! Your title knocked me out of my chair until I read the post and found out it was not quite true, LOL. Top o' the morning to you, my Irish buddy! BJ (whose maternal forebears came from Dublin.)
ReplyDeleteI love that post PapaM - it made my morning. Now if only other countries would follow suit, and some states, so we can isolate Bush to Texas. He never liked traval anyway. Let's force him to remain there until the world - and less well read Americans - finally decide to prosecute. Happy St. Patrick's Day - Michael
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patricks Day to you to BJ and Michael! Or as the saying goes.. and the rest of the day to you.
ReplyDelete@Micheal - I totally agree with you, he needs to stay in Texas chasing cows on his ranch or whatever he does there. We don't want a criminal like him in Canada. He's done horrible things and by wanting to address his first post presidential speech in Canada, I personally don't feel very honored. Bye bye Mr. Bush!

Way to go Jay and please feel free to email this post to all your friends. I sure as hell don't want him venturing out of Texas either!!!
