One thought about your last line, however: don't buy into the right-wing propaganda about your brothers and sisters on the left, the big lie that "liberal" and "faith-filled" are mutually exclusive. The fact of the matter is the right has done as fine a job "hiding" its atheists and non-believers as the left has done "hiding" its believers. Most people on the left, however, seem to be comfortable with the notion that this is (or was) a free country and one can worship or not, believe or not, as one chooses. Live and let live. This is exactly why Democrats have never (until now) put the specifics of their faith (or lack of it) on display: it isn't supposed to matter in a democracy. I would assume that non-believers on the right also share this belief. As for "believers" on the right, they don't seem to be as accepting of that whole "free will" thing. Anyway, some of the most spiritual people I know would describe themselves as liberal. It's not a contest, of course.

Just wanted to throw that out there. You're a kind soul, sir, and your request for prayers will be honored.Just Wonderinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17016445331647151264noreply@blogger.com
