Let's remember what our mothers taught us, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

Palin is on MSNBC right now spouting talking points at a rally. I'm telling you, there is nothing there.

The crowd is chanting, "Use your brain, vote McCain," and "I am Joe! I am Joe!" and her response to them and to America? "You betcha!"

Why am I thinking of Louisiana's Huey P. Long?B.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12004309077511856506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10249940.post-73620550173126404422008-10-26T08:34:00.000-05:002008-10-26T08:34:00.000-05:00Sarah Palin is just a joke. The fact that she spent mega bucks of tax paying dollars on makeup, wardrobe, and her kids travel is just a HUGE red flag of how the next 4 years will go if she and McCain are elected into office.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10249940.post-23103945855297274012008-10-26T07:09:00.000-05:002008-10-26T07:09:00.000-05:00It's interesting to see this battle to spread blam...It's interesting to see this battle to spread blame getting so heated before the election has even been lost...

The old, patrician, grey-haired camp in the Republican party have firmly targeted Palin as the scape goat: Chris Buckley, Ken Adelman and others using her as the principle excuse for jumping ship.

Meanwhile, the moose hunters have turned on McCain, who they never really trusted, and blamed him for not getting down and dirty quick enough. Palin is trading on the anger that Red-state values aren't being properly respected or defended in order to try and keep her career alive.

But the sixty-four million dollar questions are these: does this portend a deeper split in the Republican party? In which camp is the real heart of the Republican party found? And which side is going to win when it comes to writing the history of the McCain defeat in '08?Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03413659492973102654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10249940.post-63549718871644416432008-10-26T02:39:00.000-05:002008-10-26T02:39:00.000-05:00there has been mixed signals from the McCain camp ...there has been mixed signals from the McCain camp since it's inception... looks like not even Sarah Palin can keep up with McCain's endless wavering between "straight talker" and crooked politicianAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
